Lady Gaga visited the set of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' this afternoon for a candid interview and performance dressed wearing what else but a sparkly white catsuit and sea-urchin-inspired hair.
But the 'Poker Face' singer got serious as she discussed the importance of supporting the relief effort in Haiti. Recalling her time in New York during 9/11, she admits she "never felt like anyone understood" what the city was going through and now wants to raise awareness to her fans about the importance of lending a hand abroad. Tearing up, she also revealed that all proceeds from her January 24 concert in New York City will go to Haiti. (Forward to the 3:10 mark.)
Lady Gaga joins a chorus of other celebrities and entertainment companies to urge help for survivors of the disaster:
► George Clooney is hosting a telethon to raise funds for victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
► Tiger Woods, reportedly donating $3 million to Wyclef Jean's Yele Haiti relief fund.
► Gisele Bundchen, $1.5 million to the Red Cross.
► Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, $1 million to Doctors Without Borders.
► The Hollywood Foreign Press, the group behind the Golden Globes, $100,000 to Yele Haiti.
► Walt Disney Co., $100,000 to the Red Cross.
To all you freaks out there that has put LGG down or talked trash about her....eat your words....What have you done for anyone lately cept your own selfish self?
Don't worry about what OTHER people do with their hard-earned money Tom. If I want to donate to a cause, I will. If I don't, I won't. But not that it's any of your biz, I donate to cause's that will not only help myself, my family, my friends.....and even you Sir Tom.....I donate to cause's that will hopefully, eventually benefit all of us, including other nations...and that would be cause's that don't involve politically motivated donation's such as Gag gag and Pretty Boy Clooney.
Lady GAGA is awesome. She is a young woman with a heart of gold. She also sings her own songs she writes herself, doesn't lip sync like so many others, plays the piano, has a wealth of creativity, and is truly sweet as well as talented. I knew that she would step up to the plate to help Haiti, and she didn't disappoint! : )
I really like this young lady...she expresses herself in a very unique way...I hope she never sells out...I am not the typical fan, I'm sure...I'm a middle-aged grandmother of 5...but I still like to keep up with artists who show that they have talent even though it may not be the norm.
For all of you who think that conservatives are too harsh on Obama, read below and if you think that this also is a right wing conspiracy, as it says, go to a library and read for yourself. If you knew about this and voted for him anyway, up yours.

FORWARD TO ALL YOU CAN Everyone of voting age should read these two books. Don't buy them, get them from the library before they are removed from the shelves.
From Dreams of My Father: 'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'There was something about her that made me wary, a little too sure of herself, maybe and white..
From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself: the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'
And FINALLY, and most scary!
From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'
If you have never forwarded an e-mail, now is the time to do so!!!
We CANNOT have someone with this mentality running our GREAT nation! These are his words straight from his books!!
Oprah, get your black brothers and sisters together and you send money to rebuild this island! We are broke! I don't want my tax dollars going to help a VooDoo worshipping island especially when we need to help our own people! Barck has some balls pledging 100% of the U.S. support in a time of war, economic disaster, and on the verge of bankruptcy! Did Haiti send any money when Hurricane Katrina hit? Hell No!
I enjoy Lady GaGa 's music a great deal And I am nearly 58! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!! I think she is a together woman and doing a wonderful job with her talent.
GO-GO-GA-GA!! How refreshing is this woman!? She can speak, she can write, she can even SING! She's not about T&A, she's about being herself...Fashion as Art, a walking canvas! She is not superficial or on the take. Just when you thought there was nothing original left someone steps up. At first I thought she was another hype singer...she's proven me wrong. We have yet to see her full potential...which is the cool part. She's young and hopefully will maintain her originality and not sell out to the corporatists.
OMG, I'm 57 and I love her!! A true original with a gifted grasp of theatrics, she's an excellent musician and singer; her style, while a bit outta here, is wildly appealing; and she's a kind soul to boot! Love ya, LGG!
I like lady Ga Ga myself. Her heart is in the right place. Still, We 've got problems over here to you know. We haven't even cleaned up after Katrina yet. Haiti's going to wind up another bottomless pit to throw money into. Not to sound crass, but what happened to taking care of our own?

OK.... SHE HAS MADE A NAME FOR HERSELF IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS.
NOW SHE SHOULD LET THOSE ATROCIOUS COSTUMES GO !
BURN THEM, OR GIVE THEM TO THE PEOPLE WHO LIKE THOSE KINDS OF
COSTUMES FOR PARADES.
IT'S TIME FOR HER TO GET RID OF HER OUTRAGEOUS SCHTICK.
IF HER VOICE IS GOOD, SHE WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THE PUBLIC BUYING HER CD's. TIME TO GROW UP GAGA
