Sandra Bullock Ties (and Makes Out) With Meryl Streep at Critics' Choice Awards

Move over, Britney and Madonna - your famous VMAs kiss has been replaced in the annals of award show lip-locking. Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep enjoyed the rare honor of scoring a tie for the Best Actress award at the 2010 Critics' Choice ceremony, and Bullock celebrated by planting one on an unsuspecting Streep. Each winner gave an acceptance speech - and Bullock capped hers with: "Meryl is a good kisser." WATCH

Streep accepted her award first, acknowledging the strength of her role in 'Julie and Julia': "I love acting and I love to work and I love food and I love sex - so did Julia Child, so it wasn't that much of a stretch."

When Bullock took the stage, she quipped, "I too like food and sex ... See that's how similar we are. You guys just didn't notice it until now."

The 'Proposal' star also used her acceptance speech to remind fans that the relief effort in Haiti is ongoing and in need of their support. Bullock put her money where her mouth is this week - the actress donated $1 million toward Haitian earthquake relief, according to the Associated Press.

The ceremony proved important in other ways - 'Hurt Locker' director Kathryn Bigelow took home the award for Best Director, a first-time distinction for a woman at the Critics' Choice event. The Iraq War drama earned the Best Picture prize as well.

I have never been a fan of Streep, but have always liked Bulloch. She's a cutie, what can I say? I this particular case, the tie was deserved by both, and they both showed a touch of class in this awards ceremony. As for the pictures of Bradley Cooper....Doesn't this guy look like some sort of natural born prick? Every time I see the guy, he's got some snotty look on his face...

Sandra Bullock is an excellant actress. I have watched every thing that has had her in it, and have never been disappointed. Meryl Streep is also great. I will have to watcl Julie and Julia now.

If you like Sandra and haven't seen "The Proposal" yet, there are some hilarious scenes she has with Betty White. While I'm not a huge Sandra fan, it was a very funny movie.

Yuck! TRashy. Why would an superb actress with a stellar reputation--Meryl Streep--sink to this level with anyone for any reason. This is just plain trashy, and has forever tarnished my opinion of Streep. Bullock on the other hand has always been unappealing to me as an actress, and now that she is married to Jesse James she is even less appealing to me.
