Drew Barrymore 'Screwed Up So Hard' By Forgetting Boyfriend Justin Long

Drew Barrymore is the latest celebrity in the forget-the-date speech doghouse. The actress was so shocked on the winner's podium of the Golden Globes, that she neglected to mention her date, on-again off-again boyfriend Justin Long, in her speech. This after she kissed him before heading up on the stage.

"I screwed up so hard in my speech," a temporarily horrified Barrymore said backstage. She admitted she was not prepared for a victory in the Best Supporting Actress category for 'Grey Gardens'. "I think Mo'Nique said it best, you just don't want to know or think or assume you would ever win something."

Don't worry Justin, you were in good company. She also forgot to mention her Grey Gardens co-star Jessica Lange.

Backstage she made amends with a brief re-creation of her speech. Barrymore told Lange (who was not present, but you get the idea): "I wish that I could split this award in half."

She also threw Long a bone: "And I have a great date thank you, Justin, he's been making me laugh all night."

You know this how? I am not necessarily gaga over Ms. Carey, but I can't personally say she has had any plastic surgery either. If you look closely I'd say she picked up those boobs the old fashioned way, by gaining significant weight.

Oh Mariah so did have breast implants...just look at old pictures! if she got boobs the old fashioned way - by putting on weight, as you said - they wouldn't be able to stand up in that dress being that big! They wouldn't look rock hard either! her boobies are fake.

I know, right? It looked like they were afraid to touch each other. Remember the VMA kiss between Madonna, Britney and xtina? When Madonna kissed Britney it looked , well, I guess you could say natural. But when Madonna turned to kiss xtina, it looked like it hurt. That's exactly what it reminded me of. And big deal she didn't thank Justin. What has he done to help further her career? Nothing. They have dated off and on for a short time. Big deal.

Jessica Lange should have won hands down. She can and did act circles around Ditzy Drew who just faked an accent through the movie. Who cares about the foreign press anyway? Why don't they hold their awards show in a foreign country? And lose awards for TV crap - most of those people can't act and are just the same person for every script: Jennifer Aniston, Desperate Housewives - all of them and Sarah Jessica Parker, etc.

For the record, it is not necessarily in good form to thank your date when you win an award. Drew Barrymore was spontaneous, honest and real when she made her surprise acceptance speech. She owes no apologies to anyone. I like Justin Long, but he had nothing to do with Drew's winning her Golden Globe award. What was she supposed to have thanked him for? Driving her to the award ceremonies? It was her moment and hers alone, so all of you little twitter-twits, try and show some class and intelligence by next month's Oscars.

Why should Drew thank him for, being her date? He is a "D-Lister" actor, who happens to be her boy-friend for now. They went out for 5 minutes before, and now, they've been back together for 30 seconds. She's been working her whole life. If anything, he should thank her for letting him be seen with her.
