Cleavage Is In at 2010 Golden Globes

Cleavage is the new purse, apparently. No matter where you looked at the Golden Globes, there were starlets showing off their chests in seriously blatant ways. Everyone from Mariah Carey to Halle Berry got in on the eye-popping act, causing people both on and off the red carpet to wonder whether they were watching The Golden Globes or late-night cable.
At the 1980 Golden Globes, Bette Midler famously cupped her breasts and quoted Joan Crawford saying "I'll show you a pair of Golden Globes." Well, on Sunday night, the ladies of 2010 took her lead, making their own globes the hottest red carpet accessory as they tried to make their breast impression (yup, we went there).
"Between Mariah Carey, Christina Hendricks and Heidi Klum, the awards weren't the only Golden globes on Display," style and beauty expert Nadine Haobsh tells PopEater. "The beauty of gigantic boobs, whether gifted by mother-nature, pregnancy hormones, or the friendly local plastic surgeon, is that they go with absolutely everything. Well, except modesty," the 'Beauty Confidential,' author said.
Klum's post-pregnancy bust was so out there that even Ryan Seacrest had a tough time looking her in the eye while her hubby Seal was standing right there. A bold move, Seacrest -- Seal could whoop you a good one.
"Some really gorgeous hairstyles fell flat last night with all that rain during the Globes red carpet. Thankfully, no one cared because there was nothing else flat about it," said grooming expert Margaret Kelly of Lock & Mane.

Golden Globes 2010 Red Carpet
Mariah Carey played it dowdy in 'Precious' but made up for it with her down to there gown that begged the question: How are those things standing up on their own? Unfortunately bringing her own globes to the event did not score her points with fashion critics.
"If I had to stare at Mariah's two boobs for another second I may have clawed my eyes out. I feel like she let those two puppies out so people wouldn't look at her droopy Jack Daniels eyes," said PopWrap's Ryan Brockington.
Meowch!
"It seems like Mariah Carey wanted to rock her own set of globes on the Golden Globes red carpet this year, and it was a big fashion fail. Not only did it look like she wanted the world to know she upgraded the size of her implants, but she left nothing to the imagination," said style expert Jeannine Morris. "If you have it, flaunt it. Yes, even on a red carpet, but you have to look at cleavage as an accessory, dress appropriately around it and wear it tastefully. Olivia Wilde and Fergie both showed showed off their assets in a respectable fashion."
Some folks made an unsuccessful attempt at covering up their assets. Yes Mo'Nique, we may have cried a little at that acceptance speech, but we are looking at you, and you, and you.
"Monique had those two Christmas hams tucked in that gold wrap dress like she was feeding a family of 20. The only person that could have used a little help in the boob-cessory category was Toni Collette. Her dress was made for cleavage but I feel like she forgot her cutlets in her hotel room," Brockington said.
And 'True Blood' starlet Anna Paquin looked like she left her bra in her hotel room as she let the gals hang low in her sparkling gold gown.
At the end of the day, that's what the Globes are all about, good booze, good fashion and some fun with cleavage. It's why folks call them the unbuttoned Oscars.

Just because MEN don't make it a focal point doesn't mean women don't want to vote! And...just because women have certain items that help them to enhance their body doesn't mean that it's something that should be the focal point! These women are beautiful....but no vote on the hair/make-up.
America is NOT the richest country in the world. In fact, everyday working people are losing their homes, their jobs (thanks to outsourcing to other countries) and we have little children who go without food, clothing and shoes. Even medical.
What happened in Haiti is horrible, however these same things have happened here on our soil. Perhaps NOT on as large of a scale but none the less, they have and do happen, every year. WE are tapped out! We have soldiers who've been at war now for years. They are worn down, hurt, tired, weary.......yet, our own government will not vote them a decent pay raise. Retirees who served this nation and by the way deployed over their years in service to help other country's got NOTHING for 2010 with regard to a cost of living allowance. Yet.....the First Lady who wears clothing costing thousands gets on t.v. and asks those who are losing their own shirts to give give give....its' not right! That simple.

I agree. Charity begins at home. or rather it should
AMEN! People, we control this with our vote (until it's taken away or fraudulent ones sway elections/think Acorn) There needs to be major housecleaning in Washington. Alas, the problem; where are the honest businessmen with character to replace them? America is suffering from fatherless homes, motherless(exhausted from work) children; and loveless, selfless relationships. Now guys, oggle the boobies again...does it feel the same?
This was my reply to tonycarlos.........but I left out one thing......MEN ALWAYS, and I do mean ALWAYS make their crotches a focal point......just ask Tiger. LOL
Peace to you always!

I looked through all 500 pics and I have to say that Lara Spencer put'em all back on the trailer. She looked absolutely stunning. Her gown was simple and stylish and so flattering to her lovely figure. She just looked gorgeous. The others should take lessons from Lara. MHO.
