Farrah Abraham, one of the stars of MTV's 'Teen Mom,' was allegedly assaulted by her mother Saturday during an argument at their home in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Debra Danielson, 54, was arrested following the incident, the according to various media reports. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Danielson tossed an MTV t-shirt at her 19-year-old daughter, but it landed "on or near" Abraham's infant, who began to cry.At that, they began arguing about, among other things, childcare and Danielson reportedly grabbed Abraham by the throat and during the struggle struck her on the head and mouth.

I think of all the couples on the show Catelynn and Tyler seem to be the most mature. They had a difficult decision to make and gave their baby a better life by giving her up for adoption. I am adopted and thank God my birth mother made the unselfish decision to give me a better life.
Farrah's boyfriend and Sophia's dad died in a car accident about a month before Sophia was born. They just aren't allowed to talk about it on MTV I guess but there is an article on it floating around.
Everyone needs to stop Farrah bashing. She is a good mother! She has had a pretty hard life!

When I read this, I wasn't surprised. If I were Debra, I think I would have lost it with Farrah a long time ago. Obviously, I do not support physical abuse - but it sounds like this situation was probably exaggerated by the media.
That being said, Farrah probably deserved what she got. She is, without a doubt, the most disrespectful teenager I have EVER seen. There are times, while watching the show, that I find myself wanting to reach through the TV and just smack her. She doesn't have a care in the world about her daughter or her parents who bend over backwards to try to take care of her.
She deserves a lot worse than this, if you ask me. If I were her mother, I would have kicked her out a long time ago. Any child who is going to treat their parents that way doesn't deserve the luxury of living in a nice house with them.

You are absolutely right! My teenage daughter and I sometimes watch this show together and neither one of us can stand that Farrah girl. Her mom should have done this a long time ago. Poor Sophia. She is the true innocent one here.
I have the same disrepectful step daughter at home, One more year and she'll be 18 years old, cant wait to kick her out at the legal age. The cops protect these kids to much, they have more rights than you do!

Farrah & the baby need to move out & get away from her mom!
This girl is a horrible excuse for a 'mother.' She pawns her baby off any chance she gets to go out and "be a teenager." She gave up the right to be a teenager when she got knocked up and didn't even bother to notify the baby's father. She probably doesn't even know who he IS. Poor little Sophia has no chance. I feel bad for Debra, but obviously she's no great parent either seeing as how the daughter she raised is a selfish, spoiled BRAT.

trust me i dislike farrah as well, but to clear something uo, i just found out last night that her baby's dad was not going to be in her life to start with but he is actually not involved at all anymore because he died in a car accident when farrah was still pregnant, but just to contnue with what i thought, farrah is a witch for treating her parents like that, i love and thank my parent for when they watch my 10 month old, and i had him when i was 19 but i dont have that mind set of wanting to go out and party, im a mom now thats my priority
you are only seeing what the cameras want to show you to make the program more interesting.....We don't see the other days of the week ...I am a grandmother....Do whatever you need to do for them.........period...
UHH, her mother (the gramma) is absolutely terrible and if I were Farrah I'd get the hell outta there ASAP. Everything Farrah does is wrong and both her parents are so mean to her! Farrah can't even go to the bathroom without her mom saying "Farrah, you know the time you spend in the bathroom is time you could be spending with your daughter." They pick on her for every freaking little thing and I really think that it looks like she is trying her best. Her parents think just b/c they are rich and pay for everything that they can control her, Farrah needs to wisen up and get out of their house so she and her baby can have a good life together.

I've never watched the show, but when I saw the headline, I had to read the article. I couldn't believe a "teen mom," who's obviously living with her mother, called the police on her own mother (who was kind enough to keep a roof over the brat's head). From what I've read, referring to Farrah as a brat is appropriate. When mom (Debra) gets home, she should kick the brat out with baby in tow until she learns how to appreciate what she's been given and respect her mother!

Farrah is a disrespectful, immature, selfish, ungrateful, spoiled brat. All she thinks about is hooking up with boys and hanging out. How ridiculous is she to think that a teenage boy is going to want to deal with raising someone else's kid when she doesn't even want to spend time with her own kid. Her parents should stop making it so easy for her. They should make her get her own place and learn how to support herself and Sophia. When reality kicks her in her butt maybe she will learn to be more responsible.

Arrested for Domestic abuse.. My goodness, I didn't know women could be arrested for this (sarcastic)
Now her mother has a criminal record and will always be labeled a violent criminal. Good luck getting a job now or doing just about anything because anyone can look at your criminal background and label you. Thanks police,courts and daughter for ruining their lives.
