Jeff Conaway Reportedly Suffers Brain Hemorrhage, Broken Hip in Fall

'Grease' actor Jeff Conaway, who was last seen trying to get sober in 'Celebrity Rehab,' was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital on Monday with serious injuries after falling down a staircase at his home.

Conaway's girlfriend, Vikki Lizzi, told TMZ that the troubled actor suffered a brain hemorrhage, a broken hip and arm and fractured his neck in the fall.

He remains in an undisclosed hospital, but details of his condition have not been released.

Conaway, 59, rocketed to fame in 1978 with a starring role in 'Grease' and in the same year began his 3-year run on the hit TV series, 'Taxi.' Roles dried up in the 1980s as his substance abuse problem worsened. In 2008, he surfaced on VH1's 'Celebrity Fit Club' and later on 'Celebrity Rehab,' where he admitted to being addicted to cocaine, painkillers and alcohol.

This is so sad, I've loved Jeff ever since Grease he was my absolute favorite and then Taxi. I pray for him that he gets the help he so desperately needs,emotionally,physically and spiritiually.

Jeff was a good looking guy who nowadays looks like an indigent even dressed up! Crystal Meth does that.

haiti has no money to feed it children but people have thousands to feed our addictions.Jeff cant seem to get sober even with the help of Dr Drew. Yet there are addicts dying to get help but dont have the money for rehab and all these celbs act like a bunch of spoiled brats and throw the gift back. Give regular people who want it but dont have the means to pay for it.

I like Jeff but his demons are HIS created BY himself. Still, I feel for him. As for looks, he'd fit right in with the Rolling Stones! And for the damage caused by the fall, damn....how "high" WAS he?!

Why all the mocking of this man. He has a drug habit, he can't help that until he wants to. As far as people not being able to get help because they don't have the money, is a lie. We live in a country that helps all the people here. If you do not have the money, go to your local Social Service office & tell them you want to get clean & can't on your own, that you need help. We live in a country that will help you if you want to help yourself. Please, make that first step to helping yourself before this could be you that they are writing about
