Depp's got it all -- good looks, charisma, talent and the ability to wear whatever he wants, when he wants and still look cool. Still, he's got some stiff competition, as GQ is pitting Depp against 24 other dapper dudes in their quest to name the most stylish fella in the world. Who's Johnny up against? I love/lust Johnny he's one of my all-time favorite actors in the world-sexiest man alive, most gorgeous man alive maybe but most stylish??? WTF?? He usually dresses like a drunken reject from a Grunge concert. Or in some crazy, out there zoot suit that looks like a cross between a clown costume and pajamas.

No, not the most stylish. C'mon. He looks like a bum 99% of the time. If I didn't know he was a multi-millionare I would wonder were his tin cup was. He looks like a bum and his woman (you can tell) picks out all the ignorant looking suits he wears to all the award shows. Yeah, I'm going to get trashed for making this statement. I know it, and I accept it. Here it goes: Why do people (and women in particular, since we know who buys all the gossip rags and watches E) pay so much attention to entertainers? So, someone can pretend to be someone they are not (actors), so, they can sing, or dance. Great. I'm happy for them. But, I think the true superstars, the ones that should be in star magazines are people like teachers, ambulance drivers, educators, and humanitarians. No, we don't worship them. We worship people that in many cases have very little eductation, help only themselves or give 1% of their ridiculously overinflated paychecks to charity and call themselves humanitarians, and often times have overbloated and misplaced egomaniacal personalities. Blah.

Johnny Depp should play the role of Clark Gable. Depp is a great actor and is varied in his roles. I liked him in "Public Enemies" and every show I've ever seen him act. I also like the fact that he seems to be a private person and not looking for PR all the time. Very handsome man !
