Brooke Mueller Rushed to Los Angeles Hospital

Brooke Mueller was rushed to the intensive care unit of a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday night with a 105-degree fever resulting from her impacted wisdom-tooth surgery and infection earlier in the week.

"Brooke is in the hospital ICU related to the surgery for her impacted wisdom tooth," her lawyer Yale Galanter told PEOPLE. "They are trying to get the infection and fever under control. The infection has spread."

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen, whose interaction with Mueller is limited by the constraints of the protective order, was nonetheless seen visiting her in the ICU.

Mueller and Sheen are due to attend a hearing in the Aspen court, where she is seeking to modify the protective order put into place after Sheen's domestic-violence arrest on Christmas day.

"Mueller wants to be able to communicate with her husband and hopes they can go back together as a family with their 9-month-old twins, Bob and Max," Galanter said.

The hearing has been postponed several times due to the judge's schedule and now Mueller's illness.

Charlie does not need to be at the hospital visiting Brooke. Does he not understand there is currently a protective order in place? Maybe he does, but he lives above the law? I say, if he really did threaten Brooke and have a knife, get him far away and protect your kids! You do not need to go back with him!

Are u some type of idiot or what ? His wife and mother of his kids is in ICU fighting for her life and he is worried about a protection order prohibiting him from seeing her. When a person is in ICU it may be the last time you get to see them b4 the funeral. Get real

The protective order is for Colorado, not California and she is his wife..Charlie is doing nothing wrong in visiting his wife, she wants the charges against him dropped anyways..

Oh please.....because she is his wife, he has the right? I think, if he threatened her and had a knife, that gave up his right at that momment. If she wants to go back with him, then maybe they deserve each other and whatever happens...happens!

I think that Charlie should be able to see his wife,after all she wants to drop the charges that has been got against him,they have a family to think about.He is not a killer.wake up people.

So the protective order is for Colorado and not California. Does she need something to happen in every state and get protective orders to understand what Charlie did? If he threatened to kill her and had a knife in Colorado, at what point in time does one realize the person is dangerous? Is it after he stabs? If Charlie did not threaten or have a knife and Brooke made it up, then at what point in time will he realize Brooke is not the one for him? Or if it was self defense for him, then when will he realize that Brooke needs to seek help?Either way you look at it, there are serious issues in the relationship that will never mend over night. In the meantime, both parties are putting the safety of their children at risk. Is it worth it to possibly loose your children over?

Charlie can call on the phone or have a friend call. Do you understand that he threatened Brooke and had a knife? I guess if she was in the hospital (intensive care) from that incident, it would have been ok for Charlie to be there to visit her as he was concerned about her and might not ever see her again? Like I said, she called 911 as she was in fear of her life (evidentally) so if that is the case, he should stay away and leave her alone. He can pass his concerns and prayers through someone else that would be in a more stable frame of mind to convey the message to her. And no I am not the idiot!

Charlie Sheen needs to have a permanent restraining order against all women. This is a chronic abuser who will never change. He may end up killing someone in one of his infamous rages. Maybe he could be neutered.

What I understand is that she was drunk off her tush at 8:30am on Christmas Morning with their twins. There were other people in the house (her family), abusers don't beat up their wives with an audience. She also got physical with him, and she sounded pretty well lit in her 911 call. Then she was off the next day prancing about town, dressed to the nines, and smiling for the papparazzi.

Let me get this straight. Charlie was arrested after his wife called the police. They did tests on both of them and he was drunk. No surprise. She had three times the alcohol content as he did. She was very drunk. Please tell me someone else was watching the kids. These folks are from California. They were in Aspen,CO. Which I think is a suburb of Tinsletown. Having lived near there for many years, I can't imagine Sheriff Broadass doing anything to a celebrity. Must have been in the city limits. After all Hunter Thompson, the poster boy of bad behavior was a resident and even ran for Sheriff there. The place should be nuked. Let all the millionaires kill and eat each other. They deserve each other.
