Brooke Mueller Rushed to Los Angeles Hospital

Brooke Mueller was rushed to the intensive care unit of a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday night with a 105-degree fever resulting from her impacted wisdom-tooth surgery and infection earlier in the week.

"Brooke is in the hospital ICU related to the surgery for her impacted wisdom tooth," her lawyer Yale Galanter told PEOPLE. "They are trying to get the infection and fever under control. The infection has spread."

According to TMZ, Charlie Sheen, whose interaction with Mueller is limited by the constraints of the protective order, was nonetheless seen visiting her in the ICU.

Mueller and Sheen are due to attend a hearing in the Aspen court, where she is seeking to modify the protective order put into place after Sheen's domestic-violence arrest on Christmas day.

"Mueller wants to be able to communicate with her husband and hopes they can go back together as a family with their 9-month-old twins, Bob and Max," Galanter said.

The hearing has been postponed several times due to the judge's schedule and now Mueller's illness.

I had an abcess that nearly killed me, so don't be so flippant. I couldn't afford to go to the dentist and the infection spread throughout my body. NEVER take your teeth for granted. They CAN kill you. They can also contribute to heart disease. And no, gargling with alcohol or peroxide will NOT get rid of the infection. It will, however, burn your gums, scald you mouth and throat and make things worse. Unless you get to the dentist and get antibiotics, you could end up dead. It's no joke.

How naieve are all you ppl here. The knife episode was classic Hollywood and the Spotlight. When Shakespeare said "All the world's a stage' anybody that's 'somebody' who's ever been in front of a camera are the key players and everyone else is simply co-starring. My wife was preparing to cook a chicken and asked if I'd carve it. I replied "I'm gonna take a nap and if I'm awake when it's done, I'll carve it. She came and woke me to say it was ready. I mumbled all the way to the kitchen after disturbed. I started carving, she grabbed the fork as we struggled for control of the stupid bird to say I was doing it all wrong. The chicken fell on her head and she called the police claiming assault. I got arrested for battery and she filed for restraining order during my incarceration. Now she's calling asking for my help cause the kids won't mind, needs money for bills or something needs fixed. Shakespeare hit it right on the mark!

What a sorry ass baby!!! I had that done and went to work the next day!!! What a vagina!!! And thats putting it the nice way.

Jeff, I do not know what you had done and went to work the next day but I did have a friend who went to the dentist for oral surgury when she was 24 years old. An infection spread through her mouth and whole system and she was placed on life support. She passed away and never made it home. Any infection in the mouth can be a very serious and life threatening thing.

Yeah I'm sure it was an impacted tooth that caused her to get admitted.She was probably drunk or OD'd. Anyone that has to go in rehab when they are pregnant is not a responsible person. I feel sorry for the kids. Both parents drunks-I bet when they grow up they will turn out like Redmond O'Neal-an addict or alcoholic.
