No Haiti Telethon Invite for Kanye West?

Kanye West sadly will not be helping George Clooney and his pals raise funds for the earthquake victims in Haiti, as the foot-in-mouth rapper's reputation has kept him from getting an invite to the event, according to my sources. MTV, however, is saying otherwise. Details on Kanye, plus Tina Fey's Oscar invitation and why designers want thousands of dollars from some Golden Globes attendees after the jump!

Haiti Telethon Tells Kanye: 'No Thanks'

As very A-list stars begin lining up like planes on a runway for Friday's big Haiti telethon organized by Mr. George Clooney, sources tell me one celebrity was definitely not invited -- Kayne West.

"After what he said on the Katrina telethon and the way he behaved at the MTV Video Music Awards, everyone agrees it's just best that he does not participate," a producing partner told me. "Kayne has to make everything about himself. He will do anything to steal the spotlight and, well, this night it's just not about him."

I'm afraid I have to agree ... and now it seems that Taylor Swift will be joining the fund raiser. There's another reason Kanye will be watching from a couch instead of being on stage.

UPDATE/CORRECTION: MTV tells PopEater that Kanye West was indeed invited to be a part of the Haiti benefit. There's no word at this point as to whether he accepted or not.

Alec Baldwin Gets Tina Fey a New Gig

Alec Baldwin, who is co-hosting the Oscars on March 7 with Mr. Steve Martin, has made sure to look out for his '30 Rock' star Tina Fey. Sources tell me Tina is very excited to be a presenter for the first time ever at this year's ceremony, and has even offered to write a few jokes for her comedy friends if they need any special material.

Tina, having friends in high places certainly does have its advantages. Singing for your supper with a few great jokes is cheap at half the price to get into that gig!

Golden Globes Rain Costs Stars Thousands

Let me tell you a little secret. All those gorgeous dresses that you see your favorite stars wearing on the red carpet at all the awards show are borrowed. Yes, they are on loan, which means they need to be returned in the same condition in which they were received. After Sunday's washout, most of the clothes were damp and soiled rags.

"These designer dresser are not made to go outside. They are fragile works of art, many of which are stored in climate-controlled vaults. Now they are destroyed and the stars are responsible for the cost of replacing them," an A-list stylist (whose client has been left with a bill for $10,000!) told me.

Next time try Armani Exchange -- they have beautiful stuff that's weatherproof!

Mindy-You are all so ready to Blacklist every black person you can. Look at what you are doing to Chris Brown, Tiger Woods and now Kanye West and every black person you can destroy-you destroy for every little mistake they make. On the other hand, you deliberately overlook just how Kanye's remarks sky rocketed Tyler Swift to the top. She got recognization that she would not have gotten if Kanye had not opened his big mouth. Yes Kanye has a big mouth but he is not evil as you all are. Black people everywhere should stand up for Kanye and Chris Brown, but NO, everyone is totally afraid of the Racist White Media and all you Hate filled people out there who join in every hateful mean thing the media spouts out regarding black people.

As for Chris Brown, he gets Blackballed for finally, in a moment of having a few drinks, losing his temper and hitting someone back who had repeatedly hit him in the past. And what happens to Charlie Sheen who threatens his wife with a Knife-NOTHING. In our society people hit each other all the time without being blackballed from making a living. I am not suggesting that it is right to hit anyone, but I don’t know of any who would allow someone to strike them in the face without instinctively hitting them back. But just as many things happen in our society that are not right it is not right how you deliberately set out to destroy every black person possible. AS IF YOU ARE ALL SO PERFECT-YOU ARE TEN TIMES WORSE THAN ANY OF THE PEOPLE YOU SET OUT TO CONDEMN AND DESTROY. I wish you all the worst the world can bring. Kanye is a young man who just lost his mother and I know he has not gotten over that, I know he is still grieving. And although he was right about what he said about George Bush, he should not have said it because now look what has happed to him since that. First his mother is murdered and now he is blackballed from doing what he was born to do-entertain just because he drank a little too mach and said something he most surely should not have said. He is very young and very talented just as Chris Brown is and they should not be silenced from sharing their talent and music with the world. Speak Up Black People! Help these young men out (Chris Brown and Kanye West) I know that Tiger Wood can take care of himself.

First of all, the definition of a racist is someone who holds back others of different races. Since African-Americans dont run anything, we cant be racist. Prejudice, yea. Racist, not possible.

Lastly, check your facts. Correction facilities have an abundance of African-Americans for many reasons, the least of which have anything to do with Kanye West and more to do with a currupt and biased judicial system.
