Scott Baio Feels the Wrath After Insulting First Lady

Happy days are not here for Scott Baio, the former teen actor who insulted First Lady Michelle Obama on Twitter this week, and has since received angry threats from his followers.

The actor, a staunch Republican, tweeted an unflattering photo of Obama and asked, "WOW He wakes up to this every morning." Before long, he was receiving disturbing messages, like this from a user named @Timafi, who wrote: "easy to find your house Scottie boy and finish YOU. I am a republican and I love Mrs O."

Onlookers quickly piled on with charges that the 'Happy Days' actor was being a woman-hating racist. In defense mode, Baio tweeted a photo of himself with his wife's best friend, who is black.

"Do I look like I'm racist? This is Renee's BEST frd. STOP USING THE RACE CARD!!!" he type-yelled.

He also reminded people he has directed episodes of 'The Parkers' and 'The Wayans Brothers.'

The 'Charles in Charge' alum has informed the FBI of the threats and is getting support from Twitter to track down the haters.

Baio must have known the jab would garner an angry response. While President Obama's approval ratings have been sinking and sinking in recent months, the First Lady remains widely popular. According to a new CBS News poll, 78 percent of Americans approve of how she's handling her job.

But the actor was adamant: it was a joke, people!

"One bad picture of a woman & everyone wants to bash me? If it had been of Palin ppl would have prob. cheered. I am NOT making fun of any1."

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Mrs. O has had one man in her life. She is forty-six yrs old. Although the word "skank" is not in every dictionary, I will also go on a limb and assume that you mean she's "been around". Bob, I'm going out on another limb and saying I bet you didn't look in the mirror nor considered the escapades of the female members of your family, did you? Why you would want to apply the description of skank to anyone at all is lame and vicious! Look inward at yourself and ask yourself, why? What kind of hatred am I harbouring for my fellowman, who are mostly undeserving of it? Ms. O'Hare did us a great wrong, by asking for the bible to be removed from schools!! I hope she converted before she met her end, cuz the Devil scored her in his book!

M.O. is ugly, inside and out. There have been plenty of ugly First Ladies before, but none quite so ugly as this one. You can straighten the hair, put on a ton of make-up, and try to rework those eyebrows, but no amount of money can fix what's wrong with her. When she smiles, for some reason the smile never reaches her eyes. What she and her husband want to do to this country is even uglier. I don't hate them, but I do hate what they are trying to do. This country and it's people deserve so much better.
