Jennifer Hudson...I barely recognized her. If it wasn't for her powerhouse voice, I wouldn't have. Lennon and McCartney would be proud of her rendition. All our prayers for the people of Haiti. We care...

I agree, Lennon and McCartney would be proud, Hudson's voice is just stunning. My god, the way she sang that song, brought me to tears. Every part was beatutiful. God bless the people of Haiti.
I think the real praise should be going to Paul Mccartney for writing such a timeless meaningful song 40 years ago..Ms hudson should be bowing down to Paul for having the privlage to sing a such a meaningful Beatles song.
What an amazing performance. God has truly blessed you with a powerful gift. I let it be and was blessed. Thank you.

My wife and I had tears in our eyes listening to Jennifer sing "Let it Be". She is amazing, and thanks to Idol, has been discovered. There are some true talents out there waiting to be discovered.

i was dissapointed with taylor swift.
and justin timberlake was clearly trying to get attention by trying to sing leonard cohen's song . his voice was not up to this great tune.
was that really madonna? she sounded odd.
but yes ms hudson sang that song with soul something many singers think they have , many thing they can imitate but cant .
ms hudson stole the night . sorry beyonce
and sakira you did not shine

did u not understand the meaning of what last night was all about? it wasn't about anybody shinning, most of them toned down their performances because they understood it wasn't about them, gosh.
Jennifer Hudson has an amazing gift of music. This song was so approriate because there are things that we do not understand, SO LET IT BE. Let's help Haiti to re-build and this probably is the answer. Thanks!

We as American's are broke!!!!
Where is the government going to steal this money from
to pay for all this relief were giving those people.
All the hollywood stars are having a tel-a-thon
to raise millions of dollars.
I AM SICK TO DEATH of our American Government
and American people giving trillions of dollars to other
countries when we HERE in America are
jobless,homeless,and hungry!!!!!!
I would not give 1 red dam dime to Haiti or any other
country for that matter.
Thank You,
Give @ home first

Yes you are so right. We always forget about ourselves. No one helped us with Katrina what about the people who still 4 years later are without a home. George Clooney is an actor looking for attention by the way he is not that great. He looks like a lost soul. Please people open up your eyes and start to help your neighbors and friends. Only when we do that will we see change.
Jennifer Hudson is absolutely awesome! May GOD continue to bless her. It's always inspiring to hear singers who have their roots firmly planted in the tradition of gospel music. If she were to do a gospel album, it would certainly be a hit! Perhaps she will one day. May Peace Be With You, Jennifer, and the people of Haiti!

So they have all this money for Haiti, when are they goning to help the people in the good ole USA?
And why did they have to cram this program down our throats? I for one did not wish to watch this program but found it hard to find something else to watch. Did not need to be on all of the stations, if I wanted to watch I could, but don't force me to!

You can always cut the TV off. You didn't or don't see the goodness in it anyway. Stop being so selfish. You truly are.
