Spencer Pratt: I'm Not Heidi's Owner

Heidi Spencer recently admitted undergoing ten surgical procedures in one day to enhance her face and body; the response by fans and media has been less than positive. Montag's tell-all interview with PEOPLE caused outlets like FOXNews to wonder: "Is Heidi on track to becoming the next Joan Rivers?" Even Montag's mother is allegedly "horrified" by Heidi's decision.

At least Montag's husband and fellow 'Hills' star Spencer Pratt is supportive. Pratt tells PEOPLE, "Nobody truly understands how she feels except her. I may not be okay with things, but it's not my call."

The starlet and singer had a brow lift, breast augmentation, liposuction, ear-pinning and a chin reduction.

"Anytime I hinted that it might be a little much or if I just asked if she was sure, I even felt like I was crossing lines," Pratt says. "I'm not in charge of what she does with any part of her body. I'm her husband – not her owner."

Pratt admits that seeing his wife through a lengthy recovery process was painful. "Right after ... it was the worst experience of my life," Pratt says. "Nobody that loves a loved one should see that."

Montag appreciates her husband's support, while acknowledging that her self-image might not align with her husband's vision. "It's my body and I need to feel comfortable as a woman, as a person, and my inner beauty is always there and that's what's most important," she says. "His support has really been a lot and made such a difference. I couldn't ask for more."

The only positive thing I can say about all that surgery is that at least she didn't lie about it. But I wonder what she's going to do when she's 40? Too much plastic surgery looks awful, like joan rivers or mary tyler moore or that lady that made herself look like a cat. It's like self mutilation. And the sad thing is is that Heidi was prettier before, I think that the procedures she had done made her look older.

I have been having an affair with Heidi for over a year now. She needs help her sex drive is out of control asking for sex as many times as 8 or 9 times a day. She says Spencer is gay I don't know but I am worried about her. Shes a whore and hes gay but I still love her!

Bigger is better? When contemplating breast implants women need to realize that small is better if they value a more natural look. Having breasts so blown up that you fear they'll explode if you touch one - not a good idea. And not attractive either

our 14 yr old daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in Mar 2001. she battled bravely til she passed in Nov 2005 at age 19. she underwent more painful procedures (bone-marrow aspirations, lumbar punctures among them) than i can count and would have put spencer on his knees weeping.

that idiot has no idea what is horrible in life. watching his barbie doll of a wife suffer after undergoing procedures she chose to do for vanity alone garners no sympathy from me. try watching your child suffer for years and then lose the battle.

heidi: take some of that money you are wasting on yourself and donate it to pediatric cancer research next time.

i'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. my son is 5 and was diagnosed with high risk pre b cell all in july 2008. he has to go threw 3 and a half years of treatment. you are so right she caused herself pain our children have no choice. i do not feel sorry for those shallow idiots. let them go threw what we have then that idiot of a so called man would know what real heart wrenching pain feels like...
