Nancy Grace Wants Wrongful Death Lawsuit to Be Off Camera

Talk-show host Nancy Grace doesn't want her deposition in a central Florida wrongful death lawsuit videotaped. Her attorney wants a federal judge to prohibit videotaping of Grace during a deposition Thursday or prohibit the release of the deposition if it is videotaped.

Her attorneys say it's necessary to protect Grace from embarrassment.

She's a host of HLN, formerly CNN Headline News.

Grace is being sued by Melinda Duckett's family. They blame her for inflicting emotional distress on the 21-year-old Florida mother during an appearance on her talk show.

Duckett was on Grace's show in 2006 after her son Trenton disappeared. Grace grilled the woman, accusing her of hiding something. Duckett shot and killed herself the day the taped interview was scheduled to air.

Nancy Grace is a beeyotch with a capital C!!! She is a joke to "tabloidism" since she is not even a journalist. I hope she gets all the public humiliation and skewering she deserves, loses her job, some hair, picks up a tapeworm and herpes. Then she can take that southern trash accent of hers and beg for "welfayer"

Too bad Nancy !! I am glad someone has called your BS. If you can't lift you leg with the big dogs you shouldn't run with the pack. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. You have already made a case for Casey Anthony not getting a fair trial by bringing up every iota of evidence against her on National Television and I wouldn't blame them for throwing the case out since she cannot get a fair trial because Nancy Grace has already tried and convicted her in the eyes of the National public with out the due process of the legal system.

I so, so agree! Most of the folks interviewed have never been on national tv and she just goes after them like a pit bull. Guilty or not, everyone deserves a fair trial and she's done her level best to insure this cannot happen. And with a flip of a mental switch, you'd think she was in the running for Mother of the Year being the only woman to ever give birth to twins! We watched her show for a bit but there were just too many "bombshells"!!!!

Nancy Grace! Oh yea! She's the worst on TV. She rakes everyone over HER coals as her goal is "everyone is guilty". She is easy to hate. Suck it up, Nancy! I want to see you raked over the coals once in your lifetime. You were/are wrong most of the time. Shame on you! You need to apologize and part with a bunch of money.

I don't blame Nancy. What she is trying to convey to people is that if you don't want to be embarrassed don't be on her show. Everyone knows that. Why would she want to be embarrassed by having same thing done to her?
I watch her show a lot and really like her. She speaks for the victim and the victim here is not the mother of that child. I wish she didn't kill herself because family doesn't know where the body is. She really made herself look guilty by killing herself. She knew she wasn't fooling anyone.
Nancy will be found innocent.

Wow. You sure don't do much research about Nancy Grace, do you? She is a discredited and disgraced former Federal Prosecutor who was censured by the United States Court of Appeals in Atlanta, and was disbarred by The State of Georgia. Either you are very blind, or she is paying you to trump her up.

Exacttly what you said.."If you don't want to be embarrassed, don't go onto her show." I think that applies to the host too. She's got big brass ones not wanting to face the public regarding this case...the same way she forced that mother to account for her actions in the media. If you can't take it, perhaps you should quit dishing it out Nancy!

BOMBSHELL--she has no problem talking crap about others, and laughing at their downfalls-i'm sure she has no idea how many people she has pissed off and hate her. i'd like to see her on the stand, and let others kick her around a little. i'll bet tiger woods would like to see that also.

Fancy DisGrace AKA Nancy Grace go look at her wikipedia.org page. She got overturned many times as a prosecutor and even Georgia supreme court admonished her multiple times! She aired clips from the Casey Anthony civil suit, its her turn! Make it public!
