Nancy Grace Wants Wrongful Death Lawsuit to Be Off Camera

Talk-show host Nancy Grace doesn't want her deposition in a central Florida wrongful death lawsuit videotaped. Her attorney wants a federal judge to prohibit videotaping of Grace during a deposition Thursday or prohibit the release of the deposition if it is videotaped.

Her attorneys say it's necessary to protect Grace from embarrassment.

She's a host of HLN, formerly CNN Headline News.

Grace is being sued by Melinda Duckett's family. They blame her for inflicting emotional distress on the 21-year-old Florida mother during an appearance on her talk show.

Duckett was on Grace's show in 2006 after her son Trenton disappeared. Grace grilled the woman, accusing her of hiding something. Duckett shot and killed herself the day the taped interview was scheduled to air.

What a frapping hypocrite!!!!! She has no problem shredding people on her show. What a witch! Can't stand her. She caused that woman to do what she did for sure. It's about time someone brought her to task for her actions.

Nancy Grace should sell Rolaids.

30 seconds of her garbage is enough to make anyone buy a case of the stuff.

She needs to be abused like all the people she abuses on her show.

Thats right tie her up, and probe her with a cattle prod. CNN, HNN, or whatever trashy new station that airs her filth should be banned. Oh, thats right, they already have been, they're ratings are already in the toilet.

I don't think Nancy Grzce is evil: I think she is very aggressive and most of the stories I've seen her cover are about missing children. Those children need every thing that can be done to try to find them. If they have died, then the people who are responsible need to be nailed down.

She probably should not get her way about cameras in the court room, because if it were turned around she would want the cameras there.

Ms. Grace won me over somewhat the time I saw her take on Jon Gosslin. He had been on t.v. every where spouting off about his "problems", but she had him speechless and sputtering!

If one child is saved because of Nancy's interrogative techniques, then it will be worth it.

Where is Duckett's son? That should be the focus of that family and not whether Grace exposed a guilty conscience that lead to suicide.
It is caveat emptor in regards to these kind of shows. If Duckett did not know what she was getting herself into..tough!
Ask yourselves this question: would you go on Grace's show or any other tabloid/reality show to
talk about ANYTHING pertaining to your life?
If the answer is YES....suffer the consequences!

So she wants privacy? She should get about as much coverage as she gives everyone elses lives and problems. I, myself, am very tough on crime as well but Nancy's form of "news coverage" just leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Nothing has ever been decided in that story of the mother and child and airing a story/interview after someone has killed themselves is just heartless and cold. Guilty until proven innocent has long been Nancy's way of thinking. Forgive me if her privacy is just not the first thing on my mind right now.

People are mad at Nancy because she always acts self righteous on tv,and always talks aboout the peoples right to have camera's in the courtroom..Now that its her turn to be video taped and possibly embarrassed she wants to sing a different tune.
