The outspoken all-American has never been shy about his conservative leanings. On Feb. 7, Tim Tebow will make his most public political proclamation yet in a 30-second spot that may be the most controversial in the Super Bowl's history. In other news, Corinne Bailey Rae's new album The Sea is dedicated to her recently deceased husband Jason. And John Travolta is delivering aid to Haiti in the form of... Scientologists? You heard correct. This is What You're Searching for Today...Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad - $2.5 million is $2.5 million, no matter who it comes from. That's how much conservative Christian group Focus on the Family spent on a 30-second spot for the upcoming Super Bowl. In perhaps the most controversial 30-seconds in the big game's 43-year history, megastar college quarterback Tim Tebow is expected to promote a pro-life campaign called "Celebrate family, celebrate life." CBS has OK'd a preliminary script that is widely believed to recount the story of Tebow's birth, which doctors advised against after his mother became ill while on a mission trip to the Philippines.
Corinne Bailey Rae – The English singer-songwriter was in the middle of working on the follow-up to her smash debut when tragedy struck. In March 2008, Jason Rae, saxophonist, college sweetheart and Corinne Bailey's husband was found dead in an England loft of an apparent methadone overdose. Corinne's life was shattered. The Sea, which hits shelves today, was supposed to be full of "dreamy, groove-based tunes" such as her 2006 hit "Put Your Records On." Instead, it became a testament to her struggle with grief. "It's from 'grave," the singer tells ABC News of the term, "which means 'heavy,' It's a thing that lands on you, and there is nothing you can do to sort of make it work."
John Travolta Haiti – The people of quake-ravaged Haiti can use all the help they can get. Yesterday, they got John Travolta and a plane full of Scientologists. Travolta piloted his own Boeing 707, stocked with four tons of supplies, and a team of doctors and Scientology ministers, into Port-au-Prince on Monday. It was the second airborne shipment arranged by Travolta in a week. Over the weekend, the AFP reported on some of the treatment Scientologists were providing on the ground. One single leg amputee was at risk of having his other leg amputated before a Parisian volunteer named Sylvie touched him. The victim described the sensation as "a sort of harmony between the nerves, a kind of exercise. I couldn't feel at all, but then I could." A US doctor told the AFP, "I didn't know touching could heal gangrene." He probably should have spoken to John Travolta earlier.

Why should anyone give a rat's a** on what Tebow has to say? Why do such good Christians spew hatred?

Wincing with the Stars headline: Tebow to Make Millions Wish He Was Aborted with Pro-Life Super Bowl Ad
so appropriate. just play football, you meathead.
Regardless of your position on the choice question, how can you possibly equate hatred with not wanting babies killed? Man, you liberals are more twisted than I ever imagined.
How can we accuse him of spewing hatred when we haven't even seen the ad?
Also, we can't automatically accuse Christians, or anyone, of "spewing hatred" just because they express an opinion that may differ from our own. If a pro-choice football player decided to make an ad discouraging the stance of pro-lifers, would we accuse him of "spewing hatred?"
Bottom line: Ads are about swaying people to buy certain things or think certain ways, and that is exactly what he is trying to do. People do it everyday. Now, should he have chosen the Super Bowl as the time to air his opinion? Hmmm....
IT-S NOT HATRED, ABORTION IS HATRED!
Finally, an "advertisement" that isn't beer spewing, breast jiggling, ass shaking demeaning pictorial to women.

That's what happens to these young tweens who have some sucess young, they think they know and have experinced the world.
I wonder how much money was exchanged for him to do this ad?
Tebow- you haven't lived long enough to really know what the world is about.

From the sounds of it, Tim Tebow has lived more life in his 22 years than you have. Truth is, if you had his talent people might pay to hear what you think.
Tim Tebow to Appear in Controversial Super Bowl Ad ????
Oh, becuase some poeple DON'T believe in the murdering of an unborn child it's considered "Controversial". WOW, you talk about why America is in the shape it's in today. When doing the right thing and protecting lives and not murdering is "Controversial", it's a sad sad day. As much as I can't stand the Flordia Gators, I do respect Tebow for his morals, American kids need more role models like Tebow, someone worth looking up to. That is til he pulls a Tiger Woods, Plaxico Burress, Micheal Vick type stunt.

Know just what you mean...every opinion that even leans towards the right or the republican or the Christian is immediatley tagged RADICAL. We're not radical, we're trying to follow in the God-blessed footprints of the New Testement disciples.
Our 8 yr. old granddaughter will be watching the game with us; I'd rather she is exposed to an ad like this than try to field questions about erectile dysfunction or female intimate gels.
I think it is sad that people who judge others as harshly as you do calls yourself a Christian. God loves us even when we make decisions that are not so popular. YOU are NOT God and do not get to decide what is right or wrong for people.
the point is not whether he can do the ad..the point is they wouldn't let the Pro Choice people do one so why let the Pro Lifers do it? thats the biggest thing. We all know what Tebow does with his bible quotes on his face during game (sorry but I think that whether you beleive in God or not, asking him to help you win a football is ridiculous. He should be busy doing other things). So now you get the point of it I hope. What goes for one should go for the other.
Maybe a moral role Tabow could make is putting his (or the pro life people)2.5 million dollars to help the thousands & thousands (yeah you heard it right) children in this country to be adopted. Many loving people would adopt these children yet do not have the money to do so. Tabow, his mom,& Palin put your money where your mouth is.You won't gain Kudos during superbowl(most will use that time for a bathroom, cigarette, food break anyway) If you feel the need to help the children.why don't you help the ones who are alive now, & need desperately a loving home. Just remember before you spend your money unwisely again, I can only pray you will use your money wisely to provide all the inocent babies a loving home
Way to go Tim! It's refreshing to see someone stand up for the rights of ALL human beings.

Why isn't Tebow and his religious nuts speaking out about the millions killed from drinking too much Budweiser ?
Or smoking cigarettes?

gry, Christians aren't nuts, and we do speak out about teens using drugs, alcohol, tobacco, and having underage sex but our court system hasn't made any of these behaviors legal either.
The issue of abortion isn't settled, will never be settled to everyone's liking but those who disagree with your opinions on anything don't need to be called anything but opposite. Play nice, the anonymity of the internet shouldn't encourage people to be rude.
So a young man who has set an example with his life tells his story on TV and lives up to HIS values and beliefs and it is bad??? What a cynical and hateful people we must be to say the things that have been said here and in the media.
People have lost their moral center and believe only in themselves and are never tryly happy unless they are screwing someone else for their own gain. That is to be looked up to and not this??
I truly feel sorry or all the people that believe that way. No matter what you say to or about me for my remarks all of you that would need to look at yourselves first.

Instead of an ad celebrating life featuring Tim Tebow why not feature one of the following people whose mothers chose life?
Ted Bundy
Eric Menendez
Kyle Menendez
John Wayne Gacy
Sadaam Hussein
This is a personal choice for the individual, not the government or some outside third party to make. I am sick of the overexposure of Tim Tebow and this is just one more example of how he uses his celebrity to further his own agenda. If this was Angelina Jolie, those on the right would be crying 'foul'.

Let me guess. You can dangle a crystal over a womb and determine what the child would be like so you can pre-execute future trouble makers, right? LOL. How many times a day do people say "lunatic" under their breath in your presence?
AMEN! I am with you!!!
