Brooke Mueller Out of the Hospital, Into Rehab?

Just a day after being released from a Los Angeles hospital after falling ill from pneumonia, Brooke Mueller has checked herself into rehab.

Mueller, who currently has a restraining order against husband Charlie Sheen after an alleged domestic violence incident, entered a treatment facility for drug and alcohol addiction in North Carolina, ETonline.com reports.

However, Mueller's lawyer claims she's just recovering from pneumonia, not in rehab, according to TMZ. But her stepfather says she is in a treatment center. "She is recognizing that she needs help and she can't do it on her own," he told RadarOnline.com.

According to PEOPLE, time in rehab may be just what the doctor ordered. "The doctors in ICU told Brooke that if she wants to get better she has to reduce stress and get a lot of R&R in the coming weeks. Her mom thinks she needs some time away from Charlie and Los Angeles to get her head together," a source said.

Mueller and Sheen are expected back in a Colorado court on Feb. 8 to change the protective order, which keeps the 'Two and a Half Men' star from seeing his wife -- although he had been allowed to visit her in the hospital.

On Christmas Day, the actor was arrested in Aspen after reportedly hitting Mueller. He was booked for second degree assault charges.

"Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion," Sheen's rep said at the time.

The couple have twin boys together. And Sheen has two daughters from his marriage to Denise Richards.

I guess she would have to drink and do drugs so as to not think about his blows. I mean think about it Charlie Sheen SHOT ONE GIRLFRIEND, BEAT ONE INTO THE HOSPITAL, DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE PORN STAR WHO WAS PREGNANT BY HIM FOR A HOT SECOND- WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT BABY? How to have a happy marriage with Charlie Sheen? Be a bigger mess than he is. Obviously she has earned Charlie's highest admiration because he wants to step up to the plate now that she is heading to "rest" at rehab. Hollywood is such a cesspool.

I really like Charlie Sheen. It appears to me he just doesn't know how to choose a 'mate.' He knew of Brooke's alcoholic tendencies, yet married her & had the twins. Two drinkers do not make for a good pair; if indeed Charlie still drinks after his times in rehab. Some people are allergic to alcohol, i.e., in the sense it disrupts certain mechanisms of body chemistry. This in turn makes for volatile reactions AND when the partner turns in that same direction, one can expect nothing but fireworks.
With so much advertising against cigarettes, & second hand smoke killing people (this has NEVER been proven), I remain shocked that alcohol is a main stay of popularity when it kills millions of brain cells, pancreas, kidney, stomach & heart. Not to mention the thousands killed each year by drunk drivers, or husband kills wife, wife kills husband, etc. What's the matter with people????
Charlie, you need to find just the right lady for you as evidently not one has yet fulfilled your personality.

I love how a man can have failed relationship after failed relationship, but people always want to sit back and blame the females. We are talking one mans word against about a dozen females. Are you saying they are all wrong? All these chicks are crazy off the hook alcholics? The only thing these girls are doing wrong is thinking they will change him. He is who he is and the only way a relationship will work with a man like that is if you accept him. Don't let the good looks & the big bank account fool you girls! This man is damaged goods. I watched the clip when Oprah was interviewing Denise. From her facial expressions I found everything she said about Charlie was suspect. Also considering that she was stalking him shortly before his marriage and was wanting him to sire another child. That is a deeply scrared individual for sure

hope she makes it.......but.............lets see charlie attacks her with a knife. ..(while both were drinking) and she goes into rehab and he...???? what resharpens the knife...? when you sober up brooke...leave while your have all your parts.... its not worth it... they wont change....it will always be in the back of your mind...if i answer him with something that he dont want to hear , what will happen.... get out now.....
