Help! Jesse James' Dog 'CinnaBun' Is Missing

Mechanic extraordinaire (and Sandra Bullock's husband) Jesse James is asking for your help, as his pit bull 'CinnaBun' has gone missing. James, who calls his canine pal "our shop dog & pet," says that CinnaBun (pictured on the right) has been missing for nearly two days now.

"She has been missing since 2pm yesterday," James said in a posting accompanied by a photo of CinnaBun on Twitter. "If you find her plz call 562-983-6666."

James and Bullock have a reputation for loving dogs, and also preach the benefits of rescue pets. In the video below, James talks to PEOPLE about his brood of dogs.

Jesse - I hope you find your pup soon. About 16 years ago my dog jumped out of a dog groomers van right in my driveway and we searched for days and days with no luck. It was a small little white dog lost in the snow. I still miss her. Your dog is bigger and heartier so hopefully she'll be found safe and sound.

aww.i disagree w u about jesse.but im really sorry about ur dog.i m 16 and we recently had to put down my old dog and i miss her alot.it was the hardest thng 4 me to do :_(

I hope Cinnabun is found by someone that doesn't jump to conclusions about Pit Bulls. If she ends up at a shelter they will most likely put her down right away. I would hope she is micro-chipped also.

Although sometimes if the pit is friendly they wont put it down. The Az Humane Society is very careful and takes extra care in regards to pits. And they dont put them down. they make several attempts (sometimes months) in helping pits. When someone approaches a pit in the cage, they video monitor the person to see their behavior towards the dog. good people.
