The Filipino prisoners who became YouTube sensations for their staged version of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' are at it again. This time 1500 or so inmates from the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (under the direction of MJ's choreographer Travis Payne and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid) perform a dance number to Jackson's 'They Don't Care About Us.' Watch the new video and see their 'Thriller' performance. >>

I don't think so. These guys are to old for MJ he liked em young
Remember, their are more inmates than officers.
That is too many inmates to be out at onetime.
Security and control is the number one factors.
Wouldn't want to work in that jail.
Thats a bad situation waiting to happen (too many inmates out at one time) you can lose control of the inmates.

Very entertaining. It looks like they worked very hard. That reminds me of the opening and closing of the recent Olympic games.

Watch and pray. Know this to be true. When man displays productive positive lifestyle choices and unites in brotherhood then man displays his Creator's Spirit in love and light. Let us rejoice while we are all on this mother earth together and thank our Creator. For with our creator, anything is possible. United let us love one another. Keep on truckin'!

Are the guys in the front professional dancers? You don't usually get a wedge haircut in prison...

As the article says, MJ's choreographer Travis Payne (bald guy at very front who worked with MJ many times over the years) and dancers Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid, all 3 wearing black pants, worked with the inmates. These 3 are the professional dancers that worked with MJ just before his death. Everyone in orange pants are the inmates. Great job guys!!
This, like Michael, is Genius
POWERFUL, PROVOCATIVE, PASSIONATE. His dreams like Dr. Kings, and perhaps like those inmates that dance his dance, their dance live on. Thank you Michael, Martin, and inmates

Oh PLEASE. You really expect us to believe that here is a prison full of dancers? And that they have access to barber and grooming services for the latest haircuts? Look at these guys...no way they are "prisoners" and no way most of the prison's population can perform like professional dancers. The PR people will do anything to get some attention, even lie.

Actually the filipino people are quite talented. I lived in the Philippines a number of years and whenever there was a hit song out there was always a dance to go with it and believe me they picked it up fast. They don't have as many distractions over there as we do. It leaves them more time to pick up new talents and polish old ones. I have seen young children over there perform like professional dancers and old grandmas too. Filipinos have lots of talent and usually a lot of time.
The 3 guys wearing black pants in the front of the group are the professional dancers. All the guys in orange pants are the inmates. The dance steps themselves are NOT that difficult. You DON'T have to be a pro to perform them. You do have to be a pro to execute the moves well...which Travis and the 2 other dancers do very well. Great job to everyone!!!!
Honestly....how can you be so ignorant about it and think that it's fake. Do you KNOW anyone that's Filipino? Literally all of them have a thing of being drawn to dancing and singing. And reason I know that is because I'm a Filipina as well. Like pogime said, they don't have alot of distractions there especially in the prisons. The prison itself holds shows there so the inmates could perform a various amount of dances for the people visiting to view them. If it was fake.... why would they hold the shows on a regular basis at AN ACTUAL PRISON? Do your research about the place before you say anything like that is fake.
It is very ignorant for someone to assume that because people are incarcerated, they do not have any talent. In most detention centers and even prisons, someone who can cut hair, or have any talent do so to its highest and best use. It is very possible that some inmates can cut the hair and knows how to groom their fellow inmates.
Furthermore, Filipinos are known to be good dancers!!!! Just like the Latinos, they've got the beat!!!
What talent these men have. Its too bad they couldnt put such talent to good use before they ended up here. I love it and applaud them for this.

I love this video, I watched it 4 times. I bet American prisoner could not do this, they are not as disciplined. I thank you for this awesome video. And MJ was not Jewish hater, you make me sick, I bet you are another Republican who is so damn racists yourself. Get a life and enjoy this wonderful video.

They Don't Care About Us? Did the inmates care about the people they robbed, raped or killed?
