Jimmy Kimmel Calls Jay Leno a 'Tattle-Tale'

Just hours after Jay Leno aired his late-night laundry to Oprah Winfrey and insisted he felt "sucker punched" by Jimmy Kimmel, the comedian delivered a sharp monologue defending his recent appearance on 'The Jay Leno Show' in which he let loose about shakeups at NBC.

"[Leno] went on Oprah and rats me out," Kimmel said during his 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' monologue. "That's a sucker-punch right there. You don't go to Oprah and say that. He's a tattle-tale."

Kimmel's monologue was in response to Leno saying he was upset about Kimmel's remarks about the late-night debacle and ultimately blaming him for ousting Conan O'Brien. Leno told Oprah he was taken aback by the comments but decided not to edit them out of his show. "I said, 'No. Put it out there. I walked into it.'"

Kimmel said that he believed his interview with Leno would focus on the late-night wars. Instead, he said, in a pre-interview with Leno's producer, "the questions were like, 'What's your junk food weakness?'" According to Kimmel, the producer said there had been "a lot of talk" about NBC's late-night drama, "and we don't want to beat it to death."

"I figured I'd start in, he'd get into it and we'd mix it up," Kimmel said. "You know, at one time [Leno] was a comedian. But he didn't do that. He stood there and he just kind of read through the questions like a robot."

By the end of Kimmel's monologue, he had the last laugh adding, "Watch out Oprah. Don't think he won't take your show next."

Conan's ratings stunk, jimmy kimmel is a non-funny loser, letterman is an unfunny little man,and Jay is getting back what is rightfully his, and he is going to kick ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Jay, I will be watching.

Jimmy....I'd write a lot here...but I have to go take a leak... and to be honest with you, it's a far better use of ANYBODY'S TIME than to watch your show.

You could not have been more rude or disrespectful to someone than you were to Jay. His producer gave you the 'slant' of the interview.....KARMA BABY...KARMA....One of these nights you're going to be interviewing a guest....and they're going to go off on YOU....I can only hope they leave you laying there bloodied and stupified! I loved Johnny Carson and I liked Jay but it took a while because Jay was so different from Johnny. I have never liked Conan nor Kimmel and Jay will be Jay. God grief, Conan came away with 30 million dollars, who in their right mind can believe he is wronged. How childish!!

Is Jay Leno gay. He's been married forever to a dyke and they never had any kids. Do the math. People forget how Jay Leno threw his manager under the bus;(the woman who hammered his great contract out with NBC). Jay Leno was Fired from the tonight show, Conan Wanted the Tonight Show and he didn't care that Leno had to be Fired for him to get the job. Conan's Ratings dropped 47% and then he Quit , so how did Leno Steal the Tonight Show from OBrien?
