Meet Matthew McConaughey's New Daughter Vida

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves have released the first photo of their baby girl, Vida, who was born Jan. 3 in Los Angeles. This is the second child for the couple.

"Our latest family member, Vida Alves McConaughey," McConaughey wrote under the baby's photo. "Thanks for all your well wishes our way, the future's lookin bright, just keep livin, Matthew and Camila."

Alves tells Us Weekly that the baby "is doing great... It's easier with the second child, because, you know what she'll be like," said Alves, 27.

Alves gave birth to their first child, son Levi, in 2008. The big brother is loving the new addition and is "at the fun stage where he's talking. He loves saying Vida's name!" Alves adds.

Earlier this month, McConaughey released a statement on his official Web site about his new baby girl. "Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning ... Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family ... Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks," the statement continued.

Camila is set to host of the third season of 'Shear Genius,' premiering Feb. 3 at 10 p.m. on Bravo.

Matt has been goin bald since the 90's he just has hair plugs or a toupee. I seen this pic of him in 1999 at a lakers game where he was definitly balding then all of the sudden he has hair again.

Role models are not some famous people. I the child's parents should be their role models.
This is why we have some many problems with children. Poor kids do not even know who their mother and father are, so they have to look for role models on people that are not in their lives.

What are you trying to prove by not marrying the mother of your children? That you really are Peter Pan? That you ARE the poster child for irresponsible chauvanistic self interest? That your kids deserve the term, "bastards?" Manhood isn't just about jockeying a surf board and getting through life without any attachments.
