Mel Gibson Takes on Obama in a War of the Words

Whether it's throwing game at his arresting officer or speaking out publicly against feminism, Mel Gibson is not a man to mince words. This time, the actor is voicing his opinion on President Barack Obama, saying that the politician is not capable of providing America the type of assistance the country needs.

At the premiere of his latest film, 'Edge of Darkness' on Tuesday, the actor gave his two cents to a Pop Tarts reporter, saying, "[Obama] is a man with an impossible task on his hands... He got left a mess and I wish him all the best but I don't think he's going to fix it in five minutes and probably not in his entire tenure."

This is not the first time the actor has spoken out against U.S. politicians. In a 2006 interview with Time Magazine, Gibson accused then-president George W. Bush of "fear mongering," comparing Bush and his political allies to corrupt leaders of the ancient Maya.

Who gives a sh#t where Mell Gibson was born or hatched. He is still one to not dabble in politics, especially considering the lousy way he handled his family and marital affairs.

If you read Mel's actual quote it doesn't seem like a criticism of Obama. Obama does have a difficult task ahead...that's just the truth. One man can't be expected to fix all the problems in the U.S. in 4 years. That doesn't make him a bad president.

Obviously, whomever is covered by the term " PopEater Staff" has a large problem with context. "War of words" with Obama ? Gibson was simply stating the truth: that Bush screwed the pooch so badly in would take time to fix and was probably not fixable. I am assuming (danger) that English is not the native language of "PopEater Staff".

Nothing could ever make Bush ever look like a good president. Bush was the one who uttered the infamous words, "The Constitution? The hell with the Constiution, it's just a piece of paper."
It wouldn't of mattered if McCain or Obama won the presidency. They were handed a mess. No, one year is not long enough to fix this economy, all the crooks on Wall St. and 2 wars. But the fact is that Obama is the president, and I back him all the way, but he's going to take a lot of the fall for this economy because he is the one sitting in the Oval office.

What's even more sad than this pitiful attempt is that you can clearly see by the responses here that plenty of people will blindly follow.
