Michael Lohan Gets Arrested ... Again

The new year of 2010 is starting out a lot like 2009 ended for Michael Lohan, as the father of Lindsay found himself in handcuffs once again thanks to his proclivity for phoning his ex-girlfriend. Lohan was arrested and charged with criminal contempt after he allegedly called Erin Muller, which violated a protection order against him.

The order of protection was instituted against Lohan in June of 2009, after a judge allowed him to avoid prosecution on an aggravated harassment charge filed by Muller. The terms were, he had to stay out of trouble and stay away from communicating with Muller.

Lohan's attorney, Bryan Konoski, has maintained that his client is nothing more than the victim of fabricated stories from Muller.

In court filings obtained by TMZ last year, Muller claimed that Lohan was physically abusive towards her, including incidents where he "punched Erin in the mouth" and "kicked Erin in the ribs" and other sensitive locations.

In June 2008, the report claims that Lohan "spit in Erin's face, and beat her repeatedly with his fist."

No the parents are not at fault, just their behavior is. If you have someone to rely on and Mr.Lohan is not reliable, but he gets arrested every five minutes. The thing is, that no matter what happend, parents have to take responsibilities for their children. I applaud the father of Britney Spears, he did the best for his daughter. Lindsays mother should be more involved in her life, she was involved, when Lindsay had money, even if Lindsay does not like it, she should be there for her child in need.

these people are really sad. I know we will wake up to the news of an overdose someday about the daughter. She turns down rolls in the hit movie 'Hangover' because she is too busy partying...she is a beautiful girl and her career is all but over. look at this garbage father? what can you expect?

Excuse me, but violating an Order of Protection (Restraining Order etc.)if the violation is that of making a phone call to the person being protected most certainly DOES make him a badass.
