Lady Gaga and Elton John Glitter for Grammy Duet

Lady Gaga opened up the Grammy Awards with her usual (or perhaps unusual) style with a green glittery dress, shoulder pads and high heels. The high-energy 'Poker Face' performance was short and as previously reported, the song switched over to her duet with Elton John. Both he and Gaga were pushed out on stage to duet with dueling pianos to 'Speechless' and 'Your Song.' Both emerged with large, sparkly glasses with faces painted in what looked to be ash. The two traded off verses at times, while simultaneously playing the piano. Watch their performance:

"How wonderful life is with Gaga in the world," John said at one point, altering the lyrics of his classic.

At the beginning of the performance, the curtain went up as an army of dancers emerged from the crowd to tout Gaga as some kind of living doll, shouting, "The real Gaga comes complete with five #1 singles ... and she has no soul!" After singing 'Poker Face,' Gaga was dragged off the stage.

Seconds later -- now covered in ashes -- she appeared again, sharing a piano with John , who was also covered in ashes, sparkly sunglasses and a galactic Gaga-inspired earring. The piano was topped with severed mannequin arms, also flashing her "monster" hand sign. They sang 'Speechless' trading verses and then switched to 'Your Song,' his 1970 hit. The house gave them a standing ovation at the end of their performance.

Earlier in the day, Lady Gaga picked up two Grammy awards in the dance category as 'Poker Face' won for Best Dance Recording and 'The Fame' won for Best Electronic/Dance Album. Gaga is also up for the big three tonight: Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Gaga's look on the red carpet was an entirely different look from her performance getup. I found Lady Gaga back in 11/2008..her Poker Face video..and was blown away!.i am 51..male and straigth..Like i said back than i will say it again!This Woman is not too be stop!Her "Art" Her life,and what she share's is what it is all about.Mr.Elton..well a legion he is!.And as for Miss Gaga?..she is a Woman.She was born a girl!Look it up yourself!I did!Miss Gaga it has been with Great pleasure!i say this!May your heart's joy!..be forever with you!

Not a big fan of either of these goofballs. They do, however, seem to know one thing-if you're going to put on a "show", then go ahead and put on a "show"! The weirdness almost makes up for the mediocre music.

Didn't catch it on TV...and it appears I didn't miss a thing.
Wait...I take that back. Stevie Nicks...now THAT is TALENT!
Nowdays it isn't music..it's more like a freak show at a circus.
Stick a fork in it...it smells like the music industry is done.

I'm impressed.I just wish they had added the gaga doll opening in it. You can tell Lady Gaga is a huge fan of Elton John and how much he respects her in this.

For an entertainer and Women Lady GAGA has class,She took and had 5 different sigles and made an album and if you listen to it you would know Beyonce was on some of them with her.Sure she is different so was KISS,insane clown possey and others as Elton John was in the 70s.I think all of the people that cut her down are just lacking self esteam yourselfs.She cares about God her family and her fans alot more then others in the field of entertainment most only care about how much money they can make fromsales of juck 1 hit albums and high priced concerts.Lets see were she will be this time next year,I think alot of people will be changing there tunes about her soon.Lady GAGA ROCKS !!!!!!!!!

Ok Lady Gaga is not a man, and I agree with some that is a false rumor. If you look her up on you tube back in the day as a young girl, way before she was famous, she is eating at a restuarant with some friends, she looks totally girly and so naturally pretty without all that make up. People will always talk trash to make themselves feel better they feed on drama....get over it.
