In this day and age, there's nothing in show biz that fills the heart with more anticipation than what Lady Gaga will wear on the red carpet and Sunday night's Grammy Awards did not disappoint.

Gaga showed off a glitering purple gown with a rising skirt in front with her trademark lobster claw high heels.

But most striking was the ornament she held in her hand. This metal starburst had us thinking immediately of a prop from the early Superman films.
