Prince Jackson took to the stage Sunday night at the Grammys and spoke in public for the first time, stunning the audience with an emotional speech about his late father. In accepting Michael's posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award, the reclusive 12 year-old choked up while thanking fans for their support since his dad's death. "Our father loved you so much because you were always there for him," he said in a soft-spoken voice. He also touted the goodness of his beloved dad: "Through all his songs, his message was simple: Love."
The brief speech quickly became the most sincere and poignant moment of the evening, with every member of the audience standing and listening in awe as the shy Prince spoke.
Paris also spoke but very briefly, saying, "We love you daddy." She of course made a touching speech at Michael's memorial service, which was held under the very same roof as the Grammys, Staples Center.
Read the whole speech below:
Prince: First of all, we'd like to thank God for watching over us over these past seven months, and our grandma and grandpa for their love and support. We would also like to thank the fans. Our father loved you so much because you were always there for him. Our father was always concerned about the planet and humanity. Through all his hard work and dedication, he has helped many charities and donated to all of them. Through all his songs, his message was simple: Love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world. Thank you. We love you daddy.
Paris: Daddy was supposed to be here. Daddy was going to perform this year, but he couldn't perform last year. Thank you, we love you daddy.

why are you so worried about what mj's kids think about pink. are you jealous because your not talented enough. pink is awesome and so was her act.if more people worried about themselves and not about everyone else, WOW what a new world we would have. what a concept huh
HELLO PEOPLE!!!!!!!AM I THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD WHO SAW THE DOCU WHERE THAT WHITE WOMAN "CLEARLY" STATED THAT "SHE" WAS THE ONE THAT INSISTED THE CHILDREN WEAR MASKS!!!!!YOU Bill ARE WORSE THEN THE MEDIA. BUT THEN AGAIN IT'S IGNORANT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO PREFER RUMORS AND PROPOGANDA OVER FACTS. IT'S EASIER FOR YOU.
I agree with Linda and Danielle. I greww up to this man's music and have always admired Michael, no matter what the media wanted us to see. He is loved everywhere, and its a shame that the people of his own country have to find fault in him. Haven't we done that to most of the people that have made a name for themselves here? Thank You Michael for your gift. May you rest in peace and sing with the angels.
Why does it matter what color their skin is????? MJ raised them and no one else and that should be all that matters to losers like you. Pathetic. I can't believe some of the stuff I read from so called human beings!
To all those morons who have something negative to say about Michael's beautiful kids not being his because they are white you need to get some education. I know alot of african american people whose parents were white and black and the kids were born white. Stop using the color of someones skin to define them by but by the character. Its 2010 people.
Not odd, just life. It happens. I am black, my childrens father is irish, german and native american. I have 3 sons who are "white" and one who looks like he has a tan. So no, not odd. I have four wonderful sons who see no color, just love, family, and friends. I think you need to get out more and take a look at the world around you.
you know michael you are 100% righty if he is black why the hell are the kids white. hell the one look mexican. then again he would not dream of hooking up with a women he was a fag.
I've always wondered why MJ's children weren't totaly black. That was until I saw the rest of the Jackson clan. MJ's children fit right in with the rest of them!
I have to give Michael credit for (apparently) doing a wonderful job of raising these kids; just as if he was their biological father--which he obviously was not.
what they said was sweet an cute. heart felt words you can tell they miss michael as much as everyone.:) i feel bad for them they lost the greatest singer who ever lived.he lives in their hearts as well as ours.
Paris and Prince did a wonderful job accepting the award on behalf of their dad. It took alot of strength for them to get on stage and speak about Michael. May God watch over them! Sad that this even came to be. R.I.P. Michael.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

Did you get so angry when Adam lambert put his friends face in his crotch so that all the kids in America could see?
You can't judge Pink and she performed very well.
Why aren't they wearing face masks?
