I don't know why everyone is blaming Jay for all this trouble. They think he was selfish for taking Conans dream away. WHAT??? he didn't take his dream away, NBC took Jays dream away from him in the first place, when they moved him and put him at 10. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that by not having a prime time drama at 10 would hurt your ratings. Have you heard the old saying that if its not broken don't fix it. They should have left everyone alone and nobody would have had hurt feelings and NBC would not be having to put out what 44 million to smooth Conan. HELLO!!!!!

I agree. Conan didn't have the numbersd. From the beginning, I didn't see "it". But...what do I know, I am a Letterman fan (smile).

Unless Jay had a "how far do I have to bend over" clause in his contract he was the eight hundred pound gorilla in the room. If he wanted to stay in the "late nite" spot all he had to say was "I'm going to ABC" and nothing changes. It probably would have cost less to buy Conan out back at that time then it's costing NBC now. Conan certainly wouldn't have been a threat to Leno on any other network.

Let's be clear after Steve Allen no one on that show has or had any appeal beyond the insomniacs. Johnny was a failing game show host before he got there. Jack Paar disappeared after he left.

"T'was ego killed the beast", Jay's ego that is.

Taylor is that the best you can sing..You were flat.. thank god steve nicks was there to save you..Hate to say it ..You are a star built on hype.You really can't sing. Have you ever listened to your self. Your an American Idol reject at best. another example of the olson twins.No Skills,but rich from other peoples promotion efforts.

I was taught if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all. You are entitled to your fabulous opinion, but when all is said and done it doesn't matter. Taylor got the award she deserved.

Taylor Swift ablum did NOT deserve ablum of the year. She only got it becuase of Kanye's little out brust at the VMA's. He was right Beyonce video was waaaaaaaay better then that bull crap that why she got 6 grammy and Taylor performance was soooooo wack .. where Kanye when you need him .. I LOVE KANYEEEE!!!!!

I feel you people have never heard Taylor's album. She's not the best live singer, but she writes good music that means something to people who listen. I think that's the point of music writing...to relate to your audience. Get over it and let her enjoy her win!
