Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell Engaged!

Actress Kristen Bell had a lot to be excited about at last night's Grammy Awards. Her rep confirms to UsMagazine.com that Dax Shepard proposed to Bell over the holidays.

The couple have first stepped out as a twosome in 2008. Both recently starred in 'When in Rome' together. Shepard, 35, has been on the TV shows 'Punk'd,' 'My Name Is Earl 'and the upcoming 'Parenthood.' Bell, 29, is best known for her role on 'Heroes.'

In the November issue of Women's Health, Bell talked about her relationship. "I've learned the necessity for healthy communication."

"Your partner should hear your most embarrassing insecurities, because once you say them out loud, you've created a safe zone."

I didn't think she was on 'Heroes?! I know she was on Veronica Mars, and does some work on Gossip Girl... hmmm interesting I wonder if the journalist has her confused with that Hayden Panatierre girl?

No, she had a decent-length run on Heroes, but she's definitely more well-known for Veronica Mars.

Kristen Bell was on 'Heroes' but a a supporting role at best. She played the daughter of a facility manager that captured those with gifts. She had the power of creating electric shocks. But I agree saying best known for Heroes is incorrect. Veronica Mars was on for 4 seasons while her stint on Heroes was for a season and a Half. That and she starred in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

VM was on for 3 seasons and never really garnered the viewership that Heroes has. Her role on heroes was fairly integral to a number of plot lines and while I preferred her work on VM, I don't think it's inappropriate to suggest that she'd be better known for Heroes.

Does anyone know if Kristen Bell is related to the Bell family from the soap opera world? She looks like LauraLee Bell's sister, who played Cricket on The Young and the Restless for years.

Kristen is one of the most beautiful and talented actors around. But her taste in men is the pits. From Kevin Mann and now this guy. With her looks she should be able to find some guy like Josh Duhammel to marry.
