Conrad Murray, the doctor who gave Michael Jackson what turned out to be a lethal dose of drugs, is facing an imminent arrest, according to media reports. TMZ is reporting that Murray plans on surrendering on Wednesday morning, while RadarOnline is reporting that Murray has been meeting with his legal team for several days working out the terms of his potential defense if and when the case goes to court.TMZ reports that Murray will be charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of Jackson.
Murray was at Jackson's side on June 25, and gave the King of Pop a lethal dose of Propofol -- a powerful anesthetic often used in surgery.
The timeline after that final dose of Propofol is what has caused many to be suspicious of Murray's involvement in Jackson's death. According to police reports, Murray gave Jackson the drug at 10:40, and noticed he had stopped breathing at 11 a.m. However, it wasn't until 12:20 that a 911 call was placed reporting the medical emergency. During that 80 minutes, Murray made three other private phone calls that totaled 47 minutes.
Murray has maintained that nothing he did that day would have led to the death of Jackson, despite the fact that the Los Angeles Coroner's Office found lethal levels of the drug in the music legend's body.
A law enforcement official told the Associated Press on Tuesday that Murray will be charged with manslaughter rather than taking the case to a grand jury.
"Dr. Murray is in Los Angeles for a dual purpose - on family business and to be available for law enforcement," said
spokeswoman Miranda Sevcik. "We're trying to be as cooperative as we can ... We continue to maintain that Dr. Murray neither prescribed nor administered anything that should have killed Michael Jackson," Sevcik said.
Murray was brought on as Jackson's personal physician in the run-up to Michael's marathon schedule of concerts in London.

bob parks-You should get heavy metal.
I do not understand what is taking so long in the arrest of this "doctor" He was bound by his profession not to administer "drugs" to his client. He did, Michael died,he is responsible. How rocket science is this??????
The time line and phone calls just adds to his guilt. He wasn't thinking about Michael, just about saving his own ass.
Disgusting.

DARRELL- With a name like Michael, it's got to be good.
Finally!!! He should have turned himself in the day he killed him, been stripped of his license and locked away for the rest of his life.

What the general public is failing to see are the bare facts in the MJ case. One, the drug that Murray administered is ILLEGAL for recreational use, and two, a person who is under this type
of anesthetic is to be CLOSELY monitored for vitals. It is this negligence that took this musical
legend away from the world TOO EARLY... Bet the doc is thinking twice about the talking on the
phone now, ISN'T HE ????? so sad RIP MICHEAL

I`m a nobody, not famouse, and not in the limelight. If it were me that gave those drugs to m.jackson, I would get a 1`st degree murder charge, PLUS the death penalty, and my trial would have been over 6 mo`s ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe they should stick in with a strong dose of propofol and see how he reacts to it.

that doctor should be charged with 1st degree murder because he killed michael jackson. he gave him several pills and when he gave him the propofol, they weren't at a hospital or his office and there were no oxygen tanks in his bedroom where he gave that to him and it is a requirement that the oxygen be in the same room. joseph should be charged by being an accessory to murder for introducing the doctor to michael when they were in las vegas and one of the kids were sick.
its a shame that somebody murders the king of pop and still has not been arrested and charged with murder and its almost 9 months after the crime.

put the blame where it squarley belongs, on the pervert himself. he was a drug addict, a pervert, so let the jerk rot in hell where he belongs. he wanted his drugs, and paid for them, the dr., pnly gave the perve what he wanted, if this dr. didnt give it to him, the pervert would have found someone else.

Wonder if the good doctor will have a scheme team like OJ did with the murder trial. I am not one to cast the first stone generally but this doctor deserves hopefully fitting the crime if he is found guilty that would require some sort of prison time. Knowing the courts they will put him in low security prison and hey good news he could learn to play handball with the stock brokers, bankers and live an almost Club Med life for those that remember Club Meds where the guests would be treated like royalty what a shame to be rich.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't ironic that a "quack doctor" killed Elvis Presley with drug over doses -- Michael Jackson died the same way ! Jackson's ex-wify is: Precilla Pressley -- Elvis's Daughter.
Now surely this 'quack Dr. Murry ' knew exactly what he was doing, pushing M. Jackson to the edge -- all for big money !!!
I hope the courts in Calif. hang him high !!
