A two-time Grammy winner this year, Jason Mraz had much bigger issues on his mind when he spoke with PopEater at the ceremony. "I'm in the fight for marriage equality," Mraz told PopEater. "That's why I'm wearing this pin tonight. I've just been doing a couple of different activities and events speaking out as a straight man about civil rights."Mraz is the latest musician to join the fight for same-sex marriage with several big names, including Bruce Springsteen, Slash and Lady Gaga, having already spoken out or rallied for the cause. But there on the Grammy carpet, with a who's who of music superstars in the house, Mraz called on a few of his peers to speak out.

I'm a straight woman and I appreciate Jason so much for speaking out about this civil rights issue. What a shame that it's an issue at all. And I agree with him. If more straights spoke out about marriage equality, especially those in the public eye and those with a lot of influence, it could make a big difference. Jason Mraz is awesome.
