Sorry, Wrong Taylor: Concert Mix-Up in England

Taylor Swift fans in Merseyside, England have received some disappointing news, after a local newspaper confused the Grammy Award winning country star with newcomer Taylor Bright, BBC News reports.

The Liverpool Echo announced that Swift would perform at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Junior School on Monday. But it was actually Bright who was scheduled to perform for the 480 students.

"I have no idea why they thought Taylor Swift would be performing at St Margaret Mary's when she was in America picking up her Grammys," a spokeswoman for Taylor Bright said. "It must have been a slip of the tongue."

Now, with issues arising over security, the kids won't even get the other Taylor! The school has decided to cancel the concert altogether.

"Taylor [Bright] was very confused about what happened and very disappointed that the performance had to be canceled," her spokeswoman said. She also claims that the false announcement was made to a stadium of 40,000 people at a recent Liverpool soccer game.

The newspaper has apologized, and is making a donation to the school to make up for their misprint.

I'm sick of all you idiots that say "Taylor writes her own songs"...sure she does....AND THEY ALL SUCK. This girl is so over rated it's pathetic. She should never have been nominated for vocalist with the 4 other ladies. Taylor Swift wouldn't make a good zit on the ass of any of the other four nominees. People need to quit lying to this horrible singer and make her fade away, never to be heard from again. Receiving a Grammy award has lost all prestige. Giving 4 of them to a horrible singer like Taylor Swift have reduced them to nothing more than knick-knacks. No doubt Grammy awards will start showing up at yard sales by this time next year. They no longer have any meaning what-so-ever.

The Grammy Award is no better than an American Music Award or People's Choice Award or MTV whatever. It's lost any prestige due to pressure. It's all about record sales anymore...and we all know what kinda crap they put on the market these days. I guess The Crappy Awards would be more appropriate.

No, Panama Red is NOT wrong, Taylor Swift totally sucks and the only people buying her albums are children (who do not know better) or plain, probably from the south, adults who have no flavor or taste. If you bought her album then I am pretty sure your music collection sucks (you know I am right!) She bombed so freakin bad with Stevie Nicks I was emabarrassed for her,
(did you swift fans not hear it or are you deaf?) I was like get the cane and remove her from stage, please! It is political she should have NEVER won album of the year, and over Lady Gaga who reeks of talent.

Thank the heavenly father that there are people here who tell the truth. Taylor Swift is an untalented hack(ette). She can't sing to save her life. She singlehandedly brought the Grammy's to a screaching halt with her dreadful performance with Stevie Nicks. Stevie should be embarrassed for appearing onstage with this child who could be her own granddaughter.

Taylor has also ruined country music with her bubblegum songs about boyfriends, cheerleaders, sneakers and bleachers. She proves me and everybody else right when she opens her mouth to sing "live". The only thing flatter than her voice is her boyish chest.

Shame on Nashiville. Shame on the Grammys. Shame on the American Music Awards. Shame on radio for forcing this girl on all of us. Most of all, shame on all of the brain dead idiots who cannot decipher real music and talent from the Taylor Swifts of this world.

Well to be perfectly honest with you, these students are probably a lot luckier it's the wrong Taylor...Swift can't sing live to save her life..I was embarrassed on her behalf as she was howling off key during the Grammy's. This is the 4th time I've seen her perform live and it gets worse and worse each time. Where the heck did they find this girl anyway?
