I KNOW PEOPLE WHO KNOW PEOPLE WHO KNEW THEIR SIGNIFICANT OTHERS FOR YEARS GOT MARRIED AND STILL ENDED UP DIVORCED.I ALSO KNOW PEOPLE WHO KNEW EACH OTHER FOR LESS THAN 6 MONTHS IN ONE INSTANCE ONE WEEK AND STILL MARRIED TO THIS DAY SOME 35+YEARS LATER. Ian, I am one of your biggest fans, and am so so happy to hear that you have found a life partner! I really hope that you guys stay together, and I am very happy to hear the news. I named my fisrt son after you Ian, pronounced like you do. He died in my womb and was never born, but I think of him always, and you, since I named my beautiful little boy Ian. my mom met my stepdad at Mardi Gras, was single w/ 3 kids & he had none but, married her in less than 6 weeks. they had 5 kids are still together almost 30 yrs later. people who set boundaries & rules in their dating life are usually alone or miss out on "the one" because they don't listen to their heart. I know several other that dated a few weeks & outlasted their friends who planned everything perfectly but, still divorced. Congrats Ian!
