Fall Out Boy is finito. Two members of the band have confirmed what people have been speculating for months. Frontman Patrick Stump told Spin that he is "not in Fall Out Boy right now, while bassist Pete Wentz gave a statement on his blog Tuesday. "As far as I know, Fall Out Boy is on break," Wentz wrote. "I can't predict that I'd ever play in Fall Out Boy again."Although this could technically be called a hiatus, don't expect a to see them playing together any time soon. "A hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old, [and] I don't plan on either," Wentz tweeted. "Something would have to change in my head or my heart – not my wallet," he added. "It'd have to be real."

What does political affiliation have to do with liking / disliking FOB ? They are gay no matter who you vote for.
So where does it say anywhere that they split up? So-called journalists sure like making something out of nothing, they're not saying anything they haven't been saying for months now. People are getting married and raising kids in this band, they've been a band for 9 years now, them taking a break does not mean they're "split up".
And the "jokes" are because nobody has split up and they're making fun of how stupid it is.

Just because you haven't heard of Fall Out Boy doesn't mean AOL news isn't reporting on something that isn't American. Fall Out Boy is an American band, and they made the song "Thnks fr th Mmrs! (Thanks for the memories, #11 on the Billboard)" and "This ain't a scene, it's an arm's race, which peaked at #2 on the Billboard. By the way, thnks fr the mmrs was named that way because their label kept yelling at them for having long song titles, so they disemvowled their song's title as a kiss off to the corporate big wig who didn't want them to be themselves. They played at the president's inaugural ball and the title of their song is a character from the golden years of The Simpsons. Fall Out Boy is the name of radioactive man's sidekick. They are a band that was formed by a few guys, some of whom were still in high school. They worked hard playing several gigs and releasing albums before they got their big break and billboard success. They really couldn't be MORE American.

I can honestly say that I cannot even recall a song they have ever sung! Who are these people? What radio station plays there music? And I listen to a top radio station all day! Prediction, Ashley and this guy she is married too will be on the splits in 2 years, his career will go no where and she is just as bad, what has she done in the last couple of years ??????

Well, all of the top 40 stations play them, since they are a top 40 band. They are not exactly my cup of tea, but they are a widely known, often played band.
What has she done? She gave birth and is raising a beautiful baby outside of the media as much as possible. She has given up show business to raise a family like a responsible adult. She hasn't turned to some crutch, like alcohol or drugs or just go insane for the public and paparazzi like other celeb moms do. She's a great mother and has found her calling with her child. What have YOU done?
So Wentz said he doesn't plan on getting old? And he wants it to be real when/if he returns? Getting older is real. Is there that much self-hatred that he hates the potential "old" version of himself? That is angst!!
