Courtney Love Doesn't Find Lady Gaga All That Compelling

Our friends at Stylelist caught up with Courtney Love at a Make Up for Ever event and, of course, Lady Gaga was one of the first topics to come up. "What do think of her?" asked our pal Marissa Gold. Courtney didn't hold back. "At the VMA's I really wasn't sure," but a mutual friend and that Elton John collaboration changed her mind.

"One of my best friends is [photographer David] LaChappelle and he loves her. He really helped legitimize her by doing a Rolling Stone cover. He came in like, 'I met this girl and I love her, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body.' She did something the other night [her Elton John duet at the Grammys] and I was like, you know what honey, take the cake, seriously." As for Gaga's music, "I don't think her music is that compelling, but that's cause I listen to rock music," Love said "I'm an old hippie. You know what I listened to last night? Hey bleeding heart. Do you know how many animals are brutally killed to keep other animals alive? It is called predation. It is the essence of nature. Some are killed for their meat, some are killed for their fur. But I would argue that animals killed to be eaten by lions, Cheetah's and hyena's suffer more than those killed for fur. Nothing like having your bowels and genitals eaten while you are trying to die.

The answer to your question is 0, 0 animals died to make this coat. It is fake fur!
This is blatently obvious to me in this pic but even more obvious in other pics I have seen of he in this jacket.

It's obvious you are uneducated on this subject. Animals killed by cheetahs and lions do NOT suffer more in the wild than animals that are raised and/or killed for fur. Lions and cheetahs break the necks of animals on the first attack, so they die almost instantly. Many animals killed for fur are brutally beaten or skinned alive. And many hyenas (other than the spotted) don't kill their own food, they eat what others leave behind.

Do some research next time please.

Courtney who? The only thing that I find more amazing that she is still alive is that once upon a time she was a stripper. I cannot imagine paying her to take her clothes off...I would pay her to put them back on and leave. Maybe that is how she makes her money these days...she just shows up to events spouting off her opinions until somebody gives her enough crack money to make her leave.
