Jon Gosselin Will Let Kids Film Again... Only If TLC Drops Lawsuit

Jon Gosselin is hoping to use his children to bargain with TLC. He has agreed to let TLC film his children again -- only if the network drops its lawsuit against him, RadarOnline.com reports. Last year, TLC had a breach of contract claim against him and won a preliminary injunction, prohibiting him from engaging in media appearances. But even if TLC lifts the ban, don't expect him to make a 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' comeback. "You can be sure that if the kids come back to TLC it will be only with Kate, not with Jon. And there's no guarantee that will happen either," a source said.

A judge ruled in December that Gosselin has been restricted from making money off his reality TV fame and is no longer receiving a TLC paycheck. His trial is scheduled to being in the Spring.

"Photos of Jon Gosselin with scores of bikini-clad women was inconsistent with our image brand of our show,"TLC Chief Operating Office Edward Sabin said in court.

Afterward, TLC issued this statement. "The Court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a valid, binding contract and that he has breached it repeatedly. Step one – getting the court to order Mr. Gosselin to comply with his contractual obligations – has been accomplished. Any further breaches going forward will be violations of a court order. We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue our claim for damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin's numerous breaches."

But Gosselin's attorney Mark Heller trevealed, "You haven't seen the last of Jon Gosselin."

This news comes just one day after Kate Gosselin announced she would be co-hosting 'The View' again next month and be embarking on her new reality show later this year.

Jon you have shown the world what a douchebag you are, I love Kate, I love the kids, Jon has obviously forgotten his faith in God, but God hasn't forgotten His faith in Jon. I think no matter how much money Jon may or may not have at this point, I think the best thing for him would to get a regular person job and a humble home, and remember where he came from.

Well John has proved me right! I have always felt that Kate had a VERY good reason to treat John as she did, and I stuck up for her too. John on the other hand I bashed him almost as much as Kate did, he is using his kids now..what a creep. John makes my husband seem like an angel, almost!

I too emailed TLC begging them to stop this nonsense. I will not watch any program on their show if they bring any Gosselin back. I have been disappointed with the direction TLC has gone lately anyway.

If you ask me the only person from Jon and Kate plus 8 that misses the cameras, it's Kate. It's time she learned to live in the real world and stop exploiting her kids. They need to be able to grow up normally without camera's following them around all the time.

I LOVE how people are saying Jon is a terrible parent and that TLC should not drop the lawsuit against him so he will not agree to have the kids filmed. THINK ABOUT IT!! If they drop the lawsuit and the kids are filmed it will be because their HORRIBLE, LAZY, REFUSES TO WORK AN HONEST JOB MOTHER has to continue to LIVE OFF THEM!! Why can't she downsize and move into a normal house and sell all her excess and work for a living?? These people BOTH suck!

Tami, I think maybe you are not thinking rationally. It is not Kate who is promoting the revival of the show. She is trying to earn an honest living. Do you really think nurses earn enough money to support 8 children? Move to a smaller house? I honestly believe that the kids need some space. However, it is not her sole responsibility to support the children. Whatever happened to the idea that the man should be the main breadwinner in the family? HE IS THE ONE WHO WANTS TO USE THE KIDS BECAUSE HE IS TOO IMMATURE TO ACCEPT THE RESPONSIBILITY.

The kids are cute ... kids are growing up ... kids are starting to know (hopefully) what a normal life is without the cameras and media attention. The real blame here is not Jon & Kate, as they got sucked up into their psudo-star roles ... it's TLC and all the networks that prey on families like this. They make them into stars and then slap them when they get out of line. Somewhere, networks need to get back in touch with some moral ethics and start producing some interesting shows. Isn't that what TLC stands for ... the LEARNING channel? So what's there to learn about a couple with 8 adorable kids? Like couples haven't had 8 adorable kids before? Sorry, but it really makes me angry to think that these 2 nobodys think they're somebody and strut around like A-lister stars. Wake up TLC and get out of the nursery and back into some decent programming.

LMAO you people are funny. Kate has worked, she has also written a book which is quite good. SHE is doing the view NOT the kids. You all make it seem like SHE approached TLC, when in fact TLC approached them. So what if shes doing a show, or the view, atleast its a paycheck, unlike jon who has done what??NOTHING. Talk about living off your kids. that is what he has done and by this article wants to continue to do. So what let Kate get her new show. I guess it was perfectly OK for Kate to run around all over the place and do all kinds of shows while SHE WAS UNDER THAT SAME CONTRACT, huh! TLC are nothing but a bunch of IDIOTS! Please tell me why you say Kate needs to get a job. She does work. she writes books speaks at functions. And she has a new job. She supports her family. She is the one that put moneys away for the children. So what has Jon done? He is the one that needs to get a job and be an adult. I was thinking the other day how sad it would be that we'd never get another chance to see these precious kids. Although I agree Jon is a douche bag, I do hope he changes his mind about allowing them to appear on TV. In spite of what some other hate mongers say here, I enjoyed the show and hope It can continue in some form in the future...WITHOUT Jon!
