Jamie Lynn Spears, Casey Aldridge Call it Quits

Britney's little sis, Jamie Lynn Spears, has reportedly split from boyfriend and baby daddy Casey Aldridge, according to US Magazine.

The cause of the breakup was not initially reported. However, a source for Star is now claiming that the former 'Zoey 101' star has dumped Aldridge for 28-year-old Louisiana business man James Watson, who lives relatively close to the Spears family estate in Kentwood.

"They started dating last December," the source said.

Spears and Aldridge were at the center of a media firestorm in 2007 when it was revealed that Spears was pregnant with Aldridge's baby. The couple reportedly then got engaged before Spears gave birth to a baby girl, Maddie Briann, on June 19, 2008. The engagement was called off the following year.

That same year, Aldridge made headlines again when a car crash in Louisiana left him hospitalized. He was later charged with careless operation of a vehicle.

I am totally shocked these two are breaking up, after all this time togther. lmao,, They were togther long enough to have a baby,, that was it. Now shes tied down for the next 20 years because a lack of disipline, and self respect. Very sad for the child.

Pretty sure she can well afford that poor child she's tied down with (is that how your parents felt about you?). At least she's not been photo'd almost dropping the baby whilst keeping a firm hand on her drink.

Tied down ????? You must be joking...nothing ties down women like that...Someone else will be changing diapers, feeding and chasing that toddler . Probably the grandmother/nanny who will enable her daughter to have more kids out of wedlock !

I would have been more suprised if they stayed together. They need to grow up. Jamie Lynn needs a good spaking and we need to quit admiring trash like her, Brad Pitt, Angeline Jolie and other "celebraties" with their low morals.

what exactly makes her trash? the fact that she had a baby? she chose to be responsable and take care of that baby. which is more than we can say for some "adults" who have children. who made you a judge and are your hands clean?

I like Jamie Lynn at least she is taking care of her baby. She is not the only teenager that got pregnant. Hats off to the young girl. I never see her in the spotlight or doing crazy stuff. She is more grown up then some people give her credit.

how sad, at least she didn't get an abortion; kids who want to engage in adult activities need to assume adult responsibilities; mistakes happen; it takes a real man to have self restraint to love a woman for who she is ie everything about her enough to buy a home or at least engage and then get married then have intimacy afterwards not this backward world of infatuation, lust, live together, then an oops baby then engagement, then maybe marriage.. then of course divorce...so backwards these days.... waiting for marriage i know it's very hard this day and age..sigh...

Like I said when the news of her pregnancy first happened, it's not my place to judge anyone. I pray teens will choose chastity over being sexually active, but for those that don't, they have to live with the consequences, and at least she took responsibility and didn't take the easy way out. I respect her for that and wish her the best, as I do any mother and child.
