Stars will be tuning in to see who conquers the Super Bowl this year, just like the rest of us. Celebs attending a Super Bowl bash-for-charity at the home of blockbuster director Michael Bay told the Associated Press who they were rooting for this year - except 'Dancing With the Stars' regular Karina Smirnoff, who insisted she couldn't admit her favorites without knowing who would be on the show's cast next year. "I don't want to put my foot in my mouth," she said. And the rest of them?'Transformers' director Bay hosted the weekend fundraiser for The Giving Back Fund, a charity that encourages philanthropy in the entertainment and sports communities. In attendance were Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr of 'Gossip Girl' - Westwick was gunning for a Saints win "because of all the stuff that went down in New Orleans."
"They are trying to rebuild so I think it would be good for the city, good for the community," he said.
Agreed Szohr, "I am just here for the Super Bowl, to have fun and watch the Saints win."
"I really would just love to see the Saints pull it through. They have so much heart. I think it would help the city big time," said singer Gavin Degraw.
Rounding out a party apparently full of Saints fans was 'Twilight' actor Kellan Lutz, who will soon be filming the romantic comedy 'Love, Wedding, Marriage' in New Orleans.
"That's why I want them to win ... Go Saints. If they will, they win. It's going to be a great time to be down there and celebrate it," he said.

Have you ever even been to New Orleans or Louisiana? Louisiana has wonderful people and very educated people. We have the number one school of Law in the country, we have people that work hard to give our country oil that YOU my dear wouldn't be able to survive without in this country. Yes do you know where most of the the oil in the United States is.....you guessed it: in Louisiana. So you wanna bad mouth the people of Louisiana right now while you have nothing to gain from them, but I'm sure you just that type of person that when your down and out and have something you NEED from them you would do a flip-flop and act like their best friend. You keep your ass away from MY LOUISIANA. I love the people, the culture, the environment, and there is no other place on earth like it. GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!! this is for you COLTS....WHO DAT??? WHO DAT SAY THEY GONNA BEAT THEM SAINTS????? BTW: It must not be too much of a redneck/coonass term because the NFL wanted to say they own it. Yes, the NFL that your Colts play for wanted to claim the phrase, so explain that. Are the people who run the NFL ebonics speaking people? Explain yourself if you can!
you are ignorant! Most Saints fans are white and well educated! Unlike yourself!
COLTS: It appears that most NFL players and celebrities lean toward the Saints. I am a Packer fan so am rooting for the city I like most, Indianapolis. Why? It's a clean city that hardly gets recognition outside of their football team.
I have been to both cities on business many times. I prefer to visit New Orleans and ALWAYS stay in the French Quarter. Outside of the French Quarter and Fat City, there is little to brag about in New Orleans. While I am sympathetic concerning Katrina, this is about football, not social issues.
Cities I like to visit are memium-sized blue-collar cities, like Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh. While I enjoy eating Oysters at Felix's, love the architecture and listening to the bands while strolling Bourbon Street, I'll take the underdog city.
As far as the teams are concerned, I feel the Colts are the best. Next year it will be the Colts again (vs. the Packers) and Indianapolis will be forgotten once more. Two years pass and few remember the Super Bowl winner, unless it's the team that represents their city or state.
yale has the best school of law in america, and louisiana is a cool place, cool people, goooood food, and now the saints are the champs, and youre still ignorant
Ditto Lindsay very nice post...you said it all. I too am from the great state of Louisiana.
