Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend prepare for the Who Super Bowl Halftime Show.Who legends Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend prepared to rock the Super Bowl halftime show by condensing many of their hits. One thing you could have bet on: Not hearing full versions of 'Won't Get Fooled Again' (the original runs over eight minutes) or 'Who Are You' (a rockin 6:21) during the short set while that clock was ticking.

Still, Daltrey and Townshend managed to package much into a short medley, including 'Pinball Wizard,' 'Baba O'Reilly,' 'Who Are You,' a touch of 'See Me, Feel Me' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again.' Nice 'CSI' plugs with the Super Bowl airing on CBS. Backing the duo was drummer Zak Starkey (son of Ringo Starr) who has played with the band since 1994.

"It's a strange one," Daltrey said in advance of the big gig in Miami to NME.com. "It's an honor to do it, but it's only 12 minutes. It's kind of weird! I suppose it gives people time to take a slash and that's about it. That's what you do at half-time isn't it?! You plan your toilet break!"
