xanthia- MURRAY'S lethal dose killed him.
It is tough I know,I CARE, THAT MICHAEL JACKSON HAS DIED, I AM BROKEN HEARTED,HE DID NOT DESERVE THAT. Someone should have care to get him help. Drug abuse is a disease, the person is not always able to recognize their problem, and help themselves.
Michael gave alot, he was akind and good person, it is OKAY I will miss him, But always remember how many people he helped, the difference he tried to make in this cold, cruel, sometimes nasty world. Janet did not tamper with any evidence, please stop these screwy rumors. FOR ALL THAT JUDGE MICHAEL, WHAT HAVE U DONE WHAT WILL U DO,STOP THE EVIL, U SHOULD BE ABLE TO FEEL THE GOOD IN PEOPLE.

Angeleyes2- C'mon down here to reality would you please...There's no denying he was a talented entertainer....However, there's also no denying he was a very disturbed individual..Jackson had a serious drug problem and decided "not" to address it, and ultimately came to his demise as a result...It's like suing a grocery store for obesity...it's up to you, and only you.....Call it like it is, not what you hope it is..!!!

cyalater- Surely you understand addiction not so simple. Not cut and dry. Furthermore if addiction existed, it is because Murray consented to administering drug. He is responsible. Why not wean him off for money instead?
Dr. Murray should be held accountable because he is a professional and new it was wrong to administer the medication propofol. We have many patients who demand narcotics and are not given them because they are dangerous. Michael paid the Dr. a rediculous amount of money to keep him alive and he didn't do it. Why did he call Prince instead of 911? He is just a little boy. He needs to go before a jury of his peers and be made accountable. I believe Dr. Murray was only out for himself. Where was the heart monitor and oxygen? Why wasn't he by Michaels' side? I hold Dr. Murray 100% accountable.

very well stated. People say he was drugged out. According
to the autopsy the profanol killed him. Its used for surgery
in a controlled evironment. To add insult to injury their is
a med to counteract this drug. further more oxygen and heart
monitor are required to monitor the patient. This is simply
a case of gross neglience on part of Dr. Murray. I do not
see homicide being the case but a case of a bad doctor gone
wrong. Proving premediated good luck. Proving ignorance will
be fairly simple.
Regardless of what you think of Michael Jackson personally, what this doctor did was illegal, he also knew not to leave his patient because you have to be monitored while this drug is administered (hence it is always used in hospitals under strict supervision usually), and then the doctor was on the phone, calling friends, not bothering about his patient (who was no doubt paying him a ton of money under the table for this), and suddenly he's like oh I better check on him and it's already too late. This man should never be allowed to practice medicine again ANYWHERE in the world, and yes, he will be found guilty on the manslaughter charge. It's true, he didn't mean to kill Michael Jackson, much as a drunk driver doesn't intend to kill people, but nonetheless his reckless actions did kill someone. You're going to jail doctor, you and all those other doctors like you who care more about money than medical ethics! Good riddance to you and all doctors like you!

As much drugs as Michael took through the years I doubt what the doctor gave him is the one that killed him.

lindafloral- You are lindafloral, not the LA coroner's office.
They have been saying this for days, arrest the killer already!

This is a ridiculous witch hunt. As if a drug-addled and drug- addicted individual like Michael Jackson wouldn't just have called the next phyisician on his supplier list....there are probably family members as guilty of his death as this guy.

CRelic- Doubt that. Quack broke law. Period.

Boy our government really knows how to waste money. Because Michael Jackson was SO famous they have to blame SOMEONE. They have to have a scapegoat. The world won't accept it was his own dumb fault. Unless that doctor held him down and forced that medication into him he's no more responsible than his housekeeper probably was. I can probaby guarantee you that his doctor repeatedly warned him not to overdo it. I myself have to live unfortunately on narcotic pain medication due to a very painful medical condition and the medical world is very tight about what they do and don't do. Michael knew exactly what he was doing but considering his reputation he probably thought he was above all the warnings. I'm sure he NEVER thought anything would ever happen to him. I have a feeling he thought he was invincible. Let's face it, he's been a psychological mess (and that's putting it nicely) for YEARS so I wouldn't put anything past. We all also know he blamed everything on his butthead of a father, which he was. That man used all those boys for his own gain and self-imporance. If anyone should be on trial it should be the boy's father. It's a shame that they have to try and destroy this physician's career just to have someone to blame Michael's own self-indulgence on. What a waste of everyone's time and money. Just let the man rest in peace.

basketpam- You are a basket case if you believe quack should be allowed to continue practicing. Currently forbid from sedating ANYONE ELSE.
There is a reason that certain drugs can and should be utilized only in a hospital or surgical clinic with appropriate staff and policies that are accredited by health care agencies. That reason is to protect the patient and to protect the health care professional. Propofol is a medication used in conscious sedation and by proper standard of care requires monitoring by machines and people. You should have emergency airway and code cart available if the patient gets innto trouble. And proper personnel that is trained in using that equipment. Obviously this was not the case. Drug addict or no addict proper medical management by a trained professional is a must. No amount of money should ever cloud proper medical judgement. I think it will be hard for Dr. Conrad to prove that this was proper standard of care.

RM Lake - And you should shut up because you do not know what you are talking about. Seek Webster and forgo lies.
I agree the doctor must accept some blame, but Michael Jackson was also greatly at fault here. He knew his celebrity would buy him things the average man on the street couldn't get and he abused that power to get the drugs. Same as Elvis. The doctor should have to face responsibility, but not manslaughter. That is not going to bring Michael back. I think people just need someone to blame and can't face blaming Michael. He abused drugs, plain and simple. Prescription drugs can be abused, too.
