Emily Blunt's Secret to Romantic Privacy? 'Don't Be a Chatty Cathy!'

As Emily Blunt's star power continues to grow, the starlet has seemingly kept a level head throughout her journey. With her new film 'The Wolfman' opening this week, PopEater had the chance to chat with Miss Blunt -- soon to be Mrs. Krasinski, as in 'The Office' star John Krasinski -- about Hollywood, what roles she'd love ... and yes, her relationship with John that rarely gets discussed.

With a Golden Globe already under her belt at the age of just 26, Blunt says that she knows that she's done quite a bit already. So what does she want to do career-wise before she turns 30 in a few years?

"I really want to play a baddie -- like a malevolent baddie. I haven't done that yet. That could be cool," Blunt tells PopEater.

When tempted with the allure of a possible role as a 'Bond' film bad girl, Blunt's excitement poured over. "Hook me up! Let them know! Put my name forward!" she begged.

The ever-competitive Hollywood landscape among young, beautiful actresses doesn't bother Blunt, especially when it comes to who gets what role. She's all about happiness and surrounding herself with people who think just like her.

"I completely understand when one of them gets a role over me, or vice versa. Me and Amy Adams are really good friends, and I think her manager said to Amy one day, 'You have to stop going into your meetings promoting Emily Blunt!' [Laughs] She was like, 'I know, but I think Emily would be better for it!' [Laughs] So I don't really have much rivalry ... or if there is any, I don't really know anything about it. Because, you know, I'm not around girls like that. The friends I have in the business, I'm always really happy for them. I think we're always happy for each other. That sounds crap, but it's true."

As for her impending nuptials to Krasinski, Blunt says her secret to keeping their relationship private and out of the tabloids is simple -- stay mum.

"Don't be a chatty Cathy about it! I think that's the secret," Blunt said laughingly. "It's vital. It's the whole deal -- you have to have a dual existence. You have the acting side of it and the business life, and even doing press junkets and stuff, there's an element of performance in it. And then you have your private life and your downtime, and you have to make that divide. I think that's the secret -- just make the divide, and make it clear to you."

John Kranzski is a very lucky man. And no they don't look alike. The person who said that must be black and some of them think that all white people look alike. If you doubt that this woman is very attractive then you need to see the movie Charlie Wilson's war. It's also a very good movie. By the way, she's a lot classier than that Kim Kardashian who shows everything to everybody. Also her and her fiance don't go around the party scene like Kim and Reggie Bush. See Jessica Simpson and Nick Lackey if you doubt what I'm saying. Staying out all night at the clubs which are toxic atmosphere with drug dealers, drug users, drunks, jealous and envious people isn't good for anyone. Good luck to both John and Emily as I think they'll have a long and lasting happy marriage.
