Just weeks after getting extensions to lengthen her signature short 'do, Kate Gosselin cut some of them off.The 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' star sported a choppier look with less curl than before while out recently in New York City.
According to Usmagazine.com, Gosselin hated the extensions. "She thinks her hair looks overprocessed and damaged. She's afraid people will think she's one of Tiger Woods' bimbos!" a source told them.
But, according to PEOPLE, the reality star loved the locks. "I never thought I'd have short hair for as long as I did. I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life," she said of the extensions. Check out an evolution of Kate's hair inside.

Obviously, whatever rock Diana is living under has a view, which is more than can be said of your rock. Kate isn't attractive, very or otherwise. She is also a hair disaster in every incarnation.

Jeff: Falling into that thing? with her money she has had everything reset and Kate can rock with the best of them if she chooses. Kate is a good looking woman in the first place, and if you are referring to her "thing" she had the babies cesarean, so no damage to the "thing'. No more damage than would be to Kate Hudson, Brittany Spears or any other celebritie body. Money talks! Boo!

She looked better with her hair long. Kinda looked like Elizabeth Hasselbeck. Heck, if she goes back to the long hair, I'll watch her new show with the old lady.....Just to get me in the mode.

She spends thousands of dollars on her HAIR, but talks about how she "needs money". I used to like Kate, but it seems like since the show ended, she's doing whatever she can to keep her 15 minutes. There are plenty of jobs that don't involve TV that can help her raise her kids -is suddenly being a nurse a bad job?

I agree 100%, what a joke! She cried on The Today show that she had a purse full of bills that she couldn't pay, but hair extensions..puhleez. I think she's opportunistic and is not a very nice person. I really feel sorry for her kids.
I used to like Kate.. But, I had seen a segment when her daughter asked her for a drink, and she said not now.. and took a swig herself. No mother that I know of does this to a child. This is a mother that is making money off her children, and, she should be ashamed of herself. I checked into her past??.. This is a mother that is a look at me, look at me, girl that wants money no matter how she gets it. She disgusts me.......
You are SOOOO right Erin!! That's all she ever wanted anyway after the tummy tuck episode I think? She was Constantly doing more and more to Put herself out there! It seemed to be a show more about her than those precious babies! I was interested in watching THEM Grow not her! After the way she started treating Jon then Them, I HAD to stop watching and Beleive it or not it hurt! I became soo fond of all those kids! The more she Bit-ched and moaned at them all, I just wanted to give her a Smack right on the ars!!
She keeeps crying POOR MOUTH and she has SOOOO much money! Her books made millions and the kids and her and Jon had a Numerous amount of clothing lines and different healthy all Natural gooodies for kids. They even had Toys with thier Brand name on them so she is in NO-WAY Poor! NO where near it! All she wants is her MUG in the television again!! Evidently, the audience doesn't care much about her anymore because that talk show she bragged about isn't in the works anymore! I blame No-one but Herself for all that she deserves now! I'm sure those kids are SOOO thrilled to have all those rails in every floor in thier house OUT finally!! They can actually "TRY" to have a "Normal" (?) life! Whatever that is? Thier the ones that are next in line for Books and Clothing and Talk shows in a few years!! You just watch!! lol I just hope the Frigin Paparatzi (sp?) leaves them the helll alone? God Bless them ALL!
Changing the hair isn't going to change the person....And where are the kids who are her whole life while she is getting her hair done (and painting the town with her hairdresser afterward) in New York?.....home with the nanny again.....IMO her hair is but a failed attempt at recapturing her youth......

So when is the last time you saw Kate crying about money. I think you have her mixed up with looser JON.Why don't you say anything about Jon off on vacationsall over the place with YOUNG girls spending much more money then Kate does.
