Katherine Jackson on Conrad Murray: 'He's Lying, He's Guilty'
Dr. Conrad Murray not only faced involuntary manslaughter charges in a Los Angeles court Monday, the former doctor for Michael Jackson also faced intense anger from the grieving Jackson family.
After Murray entered a not-guilty plea in court, the family members in attendance fumed.
"He's just trying to save his own behind," Katherine Jackson
told reporters, according to E! News. "He killed him."
"He's lying. He's guilty. Nobody was there but him."
Father Joe Jackson was predictably blistering as well. "I just want justice done and that was not justice," he told E! "I didn't like today's hearing at all."
Many Jackson family members were in attendance for the afternoon hearing, including his parents, brother Randy and sister La Toya.
"Michael was murdered, and although he died at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, I believe Dr. Murray was a part of a much larger plan," La Toya said in a statement. "There are other individuals involved, and I will not rest and I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served."

Donna & Connie- Jacksons are family. Resources have nothing to do with the world. When someone dies, family inherits. Not public opinion. Family had every right to remove items from premises, because next of kin are minors. This is what must be done when someone dies. Were either of you, ANY of you there when announcement broke, to see what security, or others removed prior to family? They are his family, shut up.

The pain the family feels is unimaginable to hear this man say he did not do it and it will only get worse because the denfense will paint MJ to be the one that killed himself. So sad for them all to sit and hear it all. But, that family loved that man. i love the Jackson's. They were there for him in life and death. that is love many of us dont have.
Murray has got to feel like the most hated man in the world! We we will see if he sings like a bird if others are involved.

Yes, Dr. Murray contributed to the death of Michael Jackson...BUT MJ is responsiable for 80% of his own death. With or without the help fo Dr. M...MJ would have found a way to get drugs.. and if not 2009..he would have caused his own death very soon... Mj was a tomented man with deep mental problems that lead to his ever growing problems with drugs and the lack of sleep.

Absolutely correct! The doctor is guilty of the action and the greed, but Michael paid someone to administer medications that were illegal to do so outside of a medical facility. Therefore he facilitated his own death. Further it is not a normal thing to do. So he paid to play Russian roulette.

Shar you are so right. MJ played the biggest role in his death. After months of investigation it turns out that they have a very weak case. And if MJ wasn't a celebrity there would have been no investigation at all. Even the DA knows how weak this case is.

Michael was a man that had many problems from childhood to manhood but he was loved by many.
He died prematurely because of what he was taken to sleep, he was interested in one thing rest and sleep and really was not an expert on what could happen, I am sure that the DR. informed him that is was safe, after all he was the DR. and should have known better for that was HIS expertise .

jon- As an African-American, I could say if doctor were white,would still be here. Could go both ways. Who is to say? Race HAS NO BEARING. Propofol ILLEGAL outside hospital. FOR ANY RACE. Quack knew it. Whether King wanted or not. Murray is responsible for addiction if hired to treat insomnia. Wean him off for money, like you hooked him for it.
MJ was a drug addict...if his family loved him so much they should have tried an intervention. I know it's a hard pill to swallow for them, and it's easy to point fingers, but Michael was the main blame for his untimely death. If it hadn't been Dr. Murray blamed, it would have been another Dr. from the long list of enablers. The family is just as much to blame as anyone if you have to blame someone else other than Michael.

They actually did try an intervention. MJ was, of course, not willing to listen.
Francine- Janet stated family DID try to intervene. If your family,wouldn't you try? Think they want him dead? Surely they would have rejoiced if King were to cease use. Addiction not so easy. King cannot be blamed when Murray broke the law. Law is specific. Suppose King never an addict, and hired doc to treat insomnia? Addiction ensued. Didn't inject himself.
THE ONLY THING CONRAD MURRAY IS GUILTY OF IS FALLING ASLEEP WHEN MJ WAS DRUGGED. THE PEOPLE WHO "BABYSAT" HAD TO STAY UP PRACTICALLY ALL NIGHT TO PREVENT HIM FROM DYING. MJ WAS DEAD LONG BEFORE 911 WAS CALLED. IF MURRAY HE COULD HAVE REVIVED MICHAEL. IT'S ALL SO SAD. RIP MJ

Michael's family may be physically present to look like they support him but the truth is he's been supporting them for a long, long time. He was the shining star in the Jackson family and always will be. I hope Dr. Murray pays his dues but if there is any money to gain it should be souly for the children of Michael. RIP, Michael! The world misses YOU, not your money
