'Biggest Loser' Jillian Michaels' Diet Supplement Lawsuit

Jillian Michaels helps contestants lose weight the old fashioned way on 'The Biggest Loser,' but her new diet supplement has been labeled "worthless" in a class action lawsuit, according to
TMZ.
"Telling people you take two magic pills and then eat chocolate cake all day is a deception," said the lawyer who filed the suit against Michaels. She is being sued for false advertising by a woman who bought the diet supplement, Jillian Michaels' Maximum Strength Calorie Control.
"Sadly, Michaels has decided to exploit her fame and goodwill by collaborating with Thin Care and Basic Research to promote a weight loss supplement that purportedly will cause weight loss by itself, without any additional effort on the part of the consumer," the lawsuit alleges.
They are seeking to prohibit the sale of the product, as well as damages, which adds up to more than $5 million dollars. The advertisements proclaim, "Two Capsules Before Main Meals and You Lose Weight...That's It."

Throw out the pills eat a proper diet & exercise and lose weight the way it is suppose to be done. No cake, or cookies, or ice cream excpet for moderation and don't eat the whole package at one sitting.

once again it is greed that hurts the consumer -- i'm sure she does not use those pills herself -- it's all about the bucks and getting you to buy a product you don't need

If someone buys this product thinking that it is as easy as popping a pill to lose weight, then they are stupid. Everyone knows there is no easy fix to lose weight. There is plenty of items on the market saying it is easy and it is not. Simple....eat right and exercise...

That is simply the dumbest thing I have ever heard. There is NO such thing as a magic pill and there is certainly no such thing that allows you to eat chocolate cake all day and still lose weight. If you believe that then you are either the dumbest person on earth or the most naive. People will sue for anything; it's the customers' own fault for choosing to believe such utter nonsense. Grow up and take control of your own life. If you want to lose weight, then eat properly and exercise. Don't expect a pill to help you get that Heidi Klum figure.

I bet these are some of the same people that would belive they hit the Australian lottery when they've never been there. Just send us the Tax and we'll send you the lottery money.
Take these two pills eat like a pig and you'll lose weight. The sad part is that they breed and vote. Remember we have to protect the stupid people.

i really admired jillian until i found out she made a weight loss pill..they should kick her butt off biggest loser since apparently that show is about losing weight with diet and exercise, not with a little magic pill.

why are people buying this crap?,i will tell you why ,because it says that you may lose weight without doing anything.I feel that people are lazy and always take the easy way out and when it doesn't work well then just sue someone.I know of an easy way to lose weight, watch what you eat and exercise, put soem work into it.I was always told if you want something you have to work for it.I also have another answer,if it looks too easy it' snot gonna work, use your head and walk past it,DON'T BUY IT,simple enough

Okay this is your wake up call!!!! there is nothing in the marketplace that you can take that will allow you to eat all day long what you want and lose weight. It just aint happening. YOU HAVE to lose weight the one and only way there is. That is through dedication, moderation of food NOT DEPRIVATION and of course through exercise.

I cannot believe that there would be person(s)that really believe, and will say under oath that they are of adult age and believe that they would lose weight by eating all they can and taking some pills. That would be in the line of insanity. The only people that can do that are the people that are buying illegal drugs and are addicted, but they lose the weight because they don't eat. Like a song says in it about drugs "we'll all stay skinny because we just want eat". Sorry about this I got a little off track.

I recently bought the product and have'nt seen any change and I am not eatting cake or any other thing that would stop this from working. So I could careless about the law suit and just want anyone reading this that it does not work at all.

There is another diet supplement weight loss product that should be researched. Atrophex from BSN. It does not work. All it does is make you nervous and sick. None of their products work. After all they test it on their own employees using them as test bunnies.

Personally I'd be embarrassed to state that I believed that I could take two pills and eat crap all day and really lose. Wouldn't it be great to sit on the couch eating all day and lose?? Puh-leeze!!! Know why people scam others??? Because it's so freakin' easy!!!
