Alec Baldwin Briefly Hospitalized Over Daughter's Concerns -- Report

'30 Rock' actor Alec Baldwin was rushed to a New York City hospital overnight after his daughter thought he was being unresponsive, according to various reports. A law enforcement official told the Associated Press that Baldwin and 14-year-old Ireland had been arguing, and she told 911 that he had threatened to take pills. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity.

According to various accounts, when police and medics arrived at his apartment, Baldwin was awake and agreed to be taken to the hospital for examination. He was driven to Lennox Hill Hospital, where he was treated and released an hour later.

Baldwin's publicist issued a statement calling the whole thing "a misunderstanding on one person's part." The statement said Baldwin is "completely fine and will be at work" on Thursday.

The Emmy-winning actor has no known history of illness. Baldwin's relationship with daughter Ireland was the source of a 2008 scandal involving phone messages in which he berated her as a "pig."

I bet the farm that Ireland called her mom, the psycho derranged Kim Bassinger, who told Ireland to call 911 and say that Alec threated to take pills, and that's exactly what Ireland did. Kim Bassinger is a psycho and heavily influences their daughter and her behavior because Kim was given full custody and for years violated court orders to allow Alec the right to see his own kid.

If Alec HAD OD'd, was intoxicated, or threatened to take pills, he'd never have been let out of the hospital with a clean bill of health after an hour nor would he have agreed to go in the first place at her request.

He probably told the kid to take a chill pill. She seriously needs to. Lay off the guy.
