'30 Rock' actor Alec Baldwin was rushed to a New York City hospital overnight after his daughter thought he was being unresponsive, according to various reports. A law enforcement official told the Associated Press that Baldwin and 14-year-old Ireland had been arguing, and she told 911 that he had threatened to take pills. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity.

If this girl has any emotional issues I'd imagine it's the result of being raised by this nut case who tells his 14 yr. old he's going to take pills in order to win an arguement..... And I think it's GREAT that the person who leaked it to the media did so because if not everyone will go on talking how poor poor Alec Baldwin is taken advantage of by the media, his ex-wife and even his *child* takes advantage. He clearly is emotionally abusive & yet people like Palmer are going to *blame the child*. LOL It's ALWAYS someone else's fault i.e. the media, his ex-wife & now even a kid. Isn't that what ALL abusers say "she/he made me to it"? "it was a misunderstanding" LOL the kid misunderstood him threatening to swallow a bunch of pills??? And if the kid called 911 because she "thought he was unresponsive" does that mean he was *acting unresponsive"? he is indeed an actor & maybe he scared the crap outta a 14 yr. old kid into thinking he took pills & was dying. He's an *abuser* when will people not get this? HIs ex-wife didn't "make him that way" his *little girl* didn't make him that way he is what he is because that's what he is an abuser...... Stop making excuses for abusers that's how they get away with what they do.....

Any parent who would tell their child they have taken pills and fake it...should never be able to have visitation rights or the child in his home! Perhaps he needs to go to Bellvue and undergo shock treatment to get his act together and be a better parent? Pity this poor child not this fat, slobbering, egotist who thinks he is never wrong! The most striking thing about this Alec Baldwin story is that ANYone went to the ER and was "treated and released an hour later". Where we live, you're most likely going to wait 3-5 hrs. before being seen.

This kid of his is a pain in the butt... they should start looking at her.. If I were him... I'd have the very least possible interaction than necessary with her... let her stay with her mom! She is an obvious trouble maker and knows how to push buttons with the media..she sounds like she has some bipolar issues going on...

Alex should realize that the child will take an active role in parent alienation. It's impossible to defend against that kind of insanity and I think out of frustration, Alex Baldwin tried to harm himself.
He has to realize that no matter what he does, his daughter is just using borrowed scenerios to attack him as the target parent in the hope of receiving emotional approval from the alienting parent.
Alex should step back from the situation and perhaps someday his daughter will gain the wisdom to know what really happened to her and how much he loves her.
