Will Heidi Klum Need to Wear Her Own Maternity Line? 'Probably Not'

It would be very easy to despise Heidi Klum. She's flawlessly beautiful and looks at least a decade younger than she really is (36, seriously). She's the brains behind 'Project Runway.' She has a happy marriage with Seal and just gave birth to her fourth child in October (she now says her family is "complete"). And she can now add fashion designer to her resume with the launch of Lavish and Loved maternity lines. But once you meet the Teutonic model, you can't do anything but adore her (and be in awe of her ease to totter around in five inch killer heels)!

Do you see yourself modeling these clothes with another bump of your own?
I think I could be modeling them without the bump. Probably not with a bump because as a family we're complete, but I think a lot of the pieces you can wear even if you're not pregnant.

You are so skinny. Did you run home from the hospital after you gave birth?
No, but I could walk. I definitely did not want to sit in the wheelchair. I had to have a fight with them.

It's not normal how quickly you regained your shape back.
I'm a very, very active person.

If Seal sneezes in your direction do you fall pregnant?
Yeah, I have to watch when he sneezes. He has that effect on me or me on him. I don't know.

You sketched these designs yourself. Did you find it hard or easy?
Easy. I just go with my gut instinct. I wanted things that were pretty but still hard. I didn't want them to be too fruity or cutesy.

The collection is stylish with a few pieces that are blingy.
I tend to wear a lot of black, but it's nice sometimes to wear something that pops because after a while you get so bored with all black.

What was your inspiration?
Comfort and style and feeling great in your new shape. I wanted to make things that you can wear after you're pregnant because most people say, 'I can't wait to get rid of these maternity clothes,' but the truth of the matter is you still have to wear them after the baby is born.

Do you feed your kids German food?
Sometimes. I try to stay healthy with them. Obviously they eat carbs and they also have schnitzel and dumplings with sausage in them.

Your photo spread in DT magazine was pretty racy.
Oh I knew it was. I shot with Rankin and he's like a naughty English boy and he always gets me to do a lot of naughty things, but I've shot a lot of photos in my career. It's no different from shoots that I've done before. In terms of being naked, I'm not very prudish.

I don't get the big deal about gaining and losing baby weight. I only gained 18 pounds, lost 9 the first day and lost the rest within a week. I didn't starve myself but I didn't use pregnancy as an excuse to balloon my weight. I really don't understand how women gain 60 pounds then blame it on pregnancy. Rediculous!

Shari - I don't know how many children you've had so far, but let me tell you that not all weight gain is lack of discipline - I have 2 kids and with the first one I gained 25 pounds and lost the first 15 in 2 weeks and the last 10 in another 2 weeks. With my second one I gained 65 pounds, which I didn't like at all, but every time I'd restrict my food intake below whatever my body demanded I'd literally black out - while walking, driving, whatever. So I couldn't eat less than the amount that would have kept me out of fainting. I've lost the first 40 lbs within 2 weeks, the next 15 withing 2 months and the last 10 is still there (my child is 18 months) and I am working on it. Just to let you know the background - I was a model, 5'8", before kids weighed from 115 - 120 lbs. Now I'm 42 and am not aspiring to 120, but am targeting 125. Anyway, this whole post is to tell you that women's bodies respond differently to hormonal changes in pregnancy as well as the demands of a growing baby, and while there is certainly quite a bit of 'lack of discipline' related to how much some women eat during pregnancy, you just can't judge everybody by the same standard. You don't even know what your next pregnancy (ies) would be like

Since only 10% of the world population is white and only 5% have blue eyes now; I think it's SAD not to pass on her white traits. A world without blue/green eyes and blond hair would be a dull world for EVERYONE!

Her kids are so ugly the only one that is cute is her first daughter the other half breed kids are ugly. I don't like her or her show .
