'We Are the World 25' -- Janet and Michael Duet, Kanye Behaves

A portion of the revamped 'We Are the World' made its world premiere Friday during NBC's coverage of the opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics, and a full, seven-minute version of the official music video has been uploaded for all to see on the Internet. The video will also be aired on 53 domestic and international TV channels at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. Watch:

Filmed by Oscar winner Paul Haggis, the video shows images of devastation from the island nation after the January 12 earthquake that has claimed more than 200,000 lives. It also shows some of the 85 artists who gathered in Los Angeles earlier this month to re-record the 1985 charity anthem.

The track opens with teen singer Justin Bieber and also features Wyclef Jean, Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Hudson, Jeff Bridges, Josh Groban and a host of other stars. Lil' Wayne, due to begin a jail term very soon, also pops up to sing with the help of his trusty auto-tune. Also there was Kanye West, who it should be noted did not interrupt anybody while they were singing.

A surreal moment occurs when Michael Jackson -- who cowrote the song with Lionel Richie -- appears to sing alongside his sister, Janet.

Richie and fellow producer Quincy Jones introduced the song Friday via video, saying money raised by its sales will provide food, shelter and medicine for the Haitian people. Fans can download 'We Are the World 25 for Haiti' online now. All proceeds will benefit earthquake recovery efforts in Haiti.

I think this version was done nicely, but, without a doubt, there will never be another version of We Are The World like the original!

I WOULD OF LIKED IT BETTER IF ALL THE ORIGINAL SINGERS WOULD OF DID THE REMAKE .......90 PERCENT ARE STILL PREFORMING NOW 25 YEARS LATER THEY STILL CAN SELL OUT CONCERTS .....THE NEW VERSION WAS OK BUT A REMAKE WITH THE ORIGINAL TEAM WOULD OF BEEN GREATER AND SENT A BETTER MESSAGE....................

I'm not saying it was bad but the remake didn't seem to have as much heart as the original. It seemed rushed and the singers came across like they were for an ego trip instead of being there for a great cause.

I hope this song will help the people of Haiti. That is what this is all about. I liked the first version, this one is not my cup of tea though. The rap got to me, lol I think I have just plain grown too old !!!
My prayers are with the innocent people of Haiti to be able to go back to their way of life as soon as possible. My heart, and prayers goes out to all of them killed, or that have lost loved ones. It was very kind of these singers to do this for the people in need. I hope it does well for them all.

Is funny that now all of the suddenly wyclef jean, not to long ago got caught stealing from the cookie jar. now he is all about my country my country. on that note they were a good hands of good singers in this new video. how ever nothing beats the oringnal. I understand the cause but they could have made thier own song for haiti with the musical song writers genuis that bought this video together and maybe would have a better impact on people. all we look at is which version is better..

Yes I hated this version as well. They should of just came up with another song. They really did mess up the song with adding rappers and some people that didnt need to be there. I hope they do raise money for Haiti but what about hurrian Kathrina victims as well? I feel they should have included them as well. The new version of "We are the World" was horrible
