Michael Jackson's Kids 'Slowly Coping'

Michael Jackson's three children, Prince Michael I, 12; Paris, 11; and Prince Michael II ("Blanket"), 7, have been trying to gain a sense of normalcy since their father's death in June. With the support of their grandmother and guardian Katherine Jackson, the children are "slowly coping."

One source tells PEOPLE that Prince and Paris have become more confident over the past several months. "It would have been hard to imagine them going out in public or showing up at someone's house hanging out and playing video games before [their father died]," says the source. "That had a lot to do with Michael, because every time he showed up there were bodyguards and [chaos]. And now, not so much. It feels much more normal and they've adjusted really well to that."

"They're doing great, thanks to the love and support they've gotten," Adam Streisand, an attorney for Katherine Jackson said.

Katherine is raising the kids with their former nanny, Grace Rwaramba, who had stopped working for Michael before his death but returned afterward upon Katherine's request. Sources reveal "nothing over-the-top happens" at home and she is trying to have the children live as normal a life as possible. And now when the children go out in public to karate lessons or to the library and church, their faces are no longer concealed. "They like not wearing the masks," the family source says of the trio. "It's a different experience for them."

"Katherine really listens to the kids," says Streisand. "She wants to give them a sense of freedom when she can. She wants to encourage them."

Their father's influence lives on though. "Talking to Prince is like talking to Michael," says the family source. "He's so smart and mature – way beyond his age." Paris, meanwhile, "wants to be a singer."

The PROBLEM, or rather the difference is "Brangelina" never claimed the children they adopted are biologically theirs. Michael Jackson BOUGHT those kids, he paid off his dermatologista nd his lesbian assistant to have the kids for him. He didn't simply adopt them. AND he was very vocal LYING about those kids being his Biological offspring.

Madonna got so much backlash against her when she adopted, However she did the correct thing morally & legally. She saved both of her adopted children from a life of poverty, sickness and death.
She BOUGHT the kids from conception, which would be fine IF HE WAS HONEST ABOUT IT, which he wasn't.

Also during an interview the second the baby was born he said he took it right out of the hospital. I mean what a "MONSTER" what a greedy, self absorbed, monster, what hospital/ Doctor would let a person do that?

So what if he did or didn't biologically father his kids. He was still the father they needed and loved. The same can't be said about Debbie. She wanted nothing to do with Michael Jr (Prince) or Paris after she gave birth to them. She's only wanted to be their "mother" since Michael passed.

Simon- We need not worry about quack. He will go down along with negligence. Concern yourself with judgement. You are powerless to evade. King is an ICON. Despite insensitivity, HE IS SORELY MISSED.

Simon- There is no "problem" wherein King's CHILDREN are concerned. Your opinion is moot. They are KING'S offspring, and well taken care of. Who the hell are YOU that anyone need be mindful of? Be honest with YOURSELF. Ensure YOUR house is in order. All that SHOULD be of concern. Precisely what is MEANT.

Joe- King raised them to be intelligent enough to know lies when heard. We love them. They have a wonderful support base in and outside of home. Many to help them tackle, cope with crap which spews from lowlife like you. They'll be fine.

The only reason Michael didn't want his own biological children is because of one person: JOE JACKSON. He didn't want his children of any resemblance of his own father. Michael had no feelings to his own father. Joe Jackson ruined Michael. That is Michael's own business. I wish the children well.

They are definately not his own children,they should be allowed to know who their real father is. And mother too. I think they were created for him like just another possession so he could have his own little people to play with. It is pathetic,I can't understand how he even came to be called daddy especially knowing his background with molestation charges,drug addiction and who knows what else.
