John Mayer's disastrous Playboy interview in which he dropped the N-word and told naughty bedroom secrets about Jessica Simpson is too much for even Oprah Winfrey to handle. Oprah's couch -- which has been a platform for dozens of celebrity apologies and explanations -- isn't open to the guitarist just yet. Why? Because O is great pals with one of John's exes! Inside scoop on Oprah's snub, plus a special Matt Lauer and Al Roker surprise is coming ... after the jump!Oprah's Not Talking to John Mayer
Whenever a celebrity does something stupid, they often end up begging for forgiveness on Oprah's sofa -- but not John Mayer. Apparently, he's going to have to find someone else's shoulder to cry on, because the talk show queen is refusing to have the attention-seeking singer on her set. Oh, Johnny-boy, you know you've done bad when Oprah won't let you boost her show's ratings!
"Oprah is the smartest person on TV and will not let John use her or her show to ask for forgiveness," a TV insider tells me. "If John really wants to apologize for his racist and sexist comments, he should find somewhere else. The only way Oprah, who is a dear friend of Jennifer Aniston, would ever book him is if John were interested in having a much deeper conversation about race, women and fame."
So, Mr. Mayer: Stop whining about being misunderstood and start thinking about the words you use -- because it isn't just Oprah who doesn't want to listen to you anymore! And with your mouth, you should maybe consider Maury Povich or Jerry Springer before someone classy like Oprah.
Matt and Al's Olympic Surprise
Who could forget the sight of Al Roker and Matt Lauer at the Beijing Olympics in August 2008 performing rhythmic gymnastics in cat suits on the 'Today' show? Best produced TV moment ever. Well, stay tuned because sources tell me that TV's Batman and Robin are preparing to entertain us again.
"Al and Matt are the first to laugh at themselves and have fun on camera, and they are planning another hilarious surprise. It's still in the early stages, but they are planning something even funnier than their famous rhythmic gymnastics routine," an insider tells me.
No wonder 'Today' has been the number 1 morning show for the past 14 years. These guys really know how to have fun. It's too bad Katie Couric went all serious on us... she'd look so sassy in a sparkly ice skating outfit!
Pedigree Dog Food Upstages Prada!
Who would have thought that the best party during New York Fashion Week would be thrown by Pedigree Dog Food just 48 hours before The Westminster Dog Show commenced at Madison Square Garden.
Dining beneath a whale at the Natural History Museum along with Bernadette Peters -- watching amazing people being honored by Pedigree's Geoff Browne for helping dogs in need and finding loving homes them -- taught me that kindness to animals is something that never goes out of fashion!

You forgot there is one person who loves themselves more than John Mayer...that's Oprah.
It's hard to believe anyone watches her anymore. I have refused to watch her since she threw her money and clout behind this disaster of a president. Thanks O for the hope and change, we're all paying for it and will be for a very long time.
How about sharing your wealth O?
I think Oprah should let John Mayer on her show. If his band members accept his apology and explanation, then why shouldn't she and everyone else. Geez people where is your forgiving spirit.

bj we lost behind to much hate and display of a bunch of people called tea bagger republicans.
To both J and Gina...PLEASE, give me a break! When Kanye West rudely interrupted Taylor Swift, the entertainment industry and practically all of America wanted to crucify him. If anything, she needs to thank him because he help put her on the map by making her look so sad and volnerable so everybody felt sorry for her and therefore gave her more attention. But you want us to forgive John Mayer? At least when Kanye apologized, he also took some time out so her can honestly get himself together. John is running around trying to get on everyone television station and radio to get attention. Give me a break. Yeah, I'll forgive when I know he's truly sorry, which I don't think he is.
band members accepted his apology for the job an money not because they believed he was sincere
once again we are asked to use our forgiving spirit to some WHITE MAN who is racist towards WOMEN and BLACKS...forget it...we're tired of giving these low life's our forgiveness...if mayer, (who sings as if his white supremist p^nis is in his mouth,"yal baddy dis wvnderyand") didn't want to be labeled a WOMEN HATING RACIST, then he should have not said what he said, just sucked more on his LITTLE whitey...
Oprah is racist and super-sexist. Any male with any sense would not engage in highly risky sex with AIDS/STD prone black women of today.
No need to apologize here.

Oh my yes! Your blonde, blue-eyed, white Girls Gone Wild who can't help but get drunk and show their breasts and engage in "LUG" (lesbian until graduation) sex on tape are the pure image of ladylike behavior to which we should all aspire. Get a clue.
you are an retard, if you really think black people are the ones spreading AIDS/STDs. My GOD have mercy on your soul.
Boy are you the pot calling the kettle black. Look in the mirror before you starting talking next time.
YOU ARE ONE DUMB AZZ STD'S DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN U BACKWOODS HICK GROW THE F UP.....
Gina blow it out of your ass. Since when did people who want lower taxes and a stop on govt spending equal hate. You're brainwashed by the messiah, aka Obama.
who cares i for one am glad to see oprah's show going off the air i never could stand her and the way she throw's her wealth around in the face of poor pepole i say good riddins to her stupid show!as for john mayer well if he could not sing or play gituar he would not have a recording contract now would he.

Yes oprah is a racist, and I too am glad she going off the air. But john,,,,, hes a huge piggy that needs to be banned from any kind of talk show. Hes said enough already. And why anyone would pay money to hear him sing after all he has said, is beyond me.
Reply
Yes Diane Oprah is a big racist; she made Dr. Phil rich, she made Rachel Ray rich and now she making Dr. Oz rich. Wait a minute all of them are white, so I guess she's racist against black people.
Diana, you don't even know Oprah, but you call her a racist, you are just stupid. No one put a gun to your head and made you watch her show. I'm sure Oprah gives a rat's a** that you will be glad her show is going off the air, because she can buy and sell your sorry behind a million times over.
ANYBODY THAT BELIEVES THAT OPRA WINFREY IS A GOD BETTER CHECK YOUR LOBOTOMY SCARS. AMERICA SPENDS TOO MUCH TIME WATCHING THIS KIND OF CRAP ON TV. HOW ABOUT PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA IS DOING TO THE COUNTRY.
Reply
No you should have been paying attention to the 8 years of the Bush administration that got us here. I keep hearing about what Obama is doing to the constitution. Can anyone say Patriot Act where was the outrage then that most definitely took away rights but it is okay because his middle name isn't Hussein. Get over yourself!!!
HATER ! ;+O
maybe you should have been concerned a president ago, or have you forgotten.
