Johnny Weir Relieves Stress With Lemon Pledge and 'Real Housewives'

In preparation for his short program performance at the Olympics, figure skater Johnny Weir did what anyone would do before a nationally-televised Olympic event -- clean his hotel room, run around naked and watch 'Real Housewives of Atlanta.' Duh.

Weir spilled his strange pre-game rituals to PEOPLE after scoring an 82.10 Tuesday night. "I was nervous last night. So I Pledged everything in my room," he said. "Some people eat, some people drink -- but I Pledge everything."

His roommate, ice dancer Tanith Belbin, was nice enough to give him some privacy. "She is the best roommate -- she stayed away all day today so I could run around naked and watch 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,'" he said. "I will do the same for her."

Weir's solid performance landed him in sixth place among the men's figure skating group. "I had fun, showed my heart and smiled," he said. "I want to show my heart and take fans on a journey -- that's my goal here." Watch the video below!

"I saw one skater out of the corner of my mascara," he said, when asked if he had watched his competition. "I knew a medal was far-fetched for me," he added, but he promised fans "a good cat fight along the way."

For the next performance, expect an even flashier show from the breakout Olympic star. "I may get the urge to throw more glitter in my hair," he said with a wink.

Hello everyone! I love Johnny Weir from the moment I seen him many years ago. I know and everyone knows that he's gay I knew that from the start. Johnny is gay and great let him be. Let him fly his gay flag because he's not harming anyone.

Am I the only one in LA LA land here??? but could someone tell me how a skater nails a perfect skate Like Jnhnny did and the swiss guy stumbles and even falls down on one of his jumps and still is ahead of him ? and he didn't even without even doing a quad to even justify being ahead of him ?? The Olympics Its is a sad tired old poor organization that needs to retire itself.

I absolutely love Johnny Weir, regardless of his sexual preferences. He is entertaining, and his skating has passion. He is certainly more likable than that russian skater whose hair is still stuck in the 80's.....
Johnny should have been at least second or third after that short skate, yeah-Evan's performance was spot on, but russian man is booooorrring, and boorish.

Yes Johnny may be as gay as they make them, but at least he isnt as bad with the exhibition of his condition the way Rudy Galindo was!! GOOD GOD! WHAT A FRUIT!!
